I read the papers and watch the highlights on the web site and still feel dumbfounded as to what business plan our beloved MFC has..??

Is it a MBA from disney world our board room members have got or purely just no desire to satisfy the massess of disciples that turn up each week, to see a poor game plan and average performances by those who insist in god like status. With no plan B and C from the bench.

The pride and moral boost the town needs with the closure of various steel and chemical plants is a must this season and promotion is a necessity to achieve such.....

Mr G and S...lets again review our game plan and what our goals and targets are...we can succeed but need to see the wood from the trees......Lets stick together and show all those outside the boundaries where the factory smoke can not be seen what we are made of....

As a youngster you dream of becoming a star racer, competing against the best in the world, the hardest, the toughest and the most crafty. You want to face-off with the next Sennas, Mansells, Prosts and Piquets.

You reach your dream, at last F1! It's a glitzy, fun world, you're doing well, until you realise that your teammate is Fernando Alonso, your chief designer was last seen with a member of a rival team handing him secret info, Mark Webber is on the grid, Flavio Briatore is a team boss and the President of the Federation is stupidity incarnate.

"Are you absolutely sure there's nothing higher than F1?" you ask. "I could give you your chances of finding better", replies Marvin, "but you won't like it..."

No...I think lewis more of a cry baby, selfish and on top of that spoiled. How u explain the investigation.....since FIA cannot only punish vettel based on evidence(wich I agree) they let them both go free...lewis incident with kubica ended up with kubica getting punished......how about similar incident in the same race??? nothing happened.....it is ridiculous......

Traps-Hamilton has disobeyed the orders of McLaren, harming clearly the interests of his team (if they have not done the doublet in McLaren-Mercedes it's because Traps-Hamilton disobeyed these order. The just thing would be that McLaren will sanction him, like a symbolic penalty and to keep up appearances.

And Fernando Alonso is the only pilot that has counted in all the GP's of this season.

It should give you shame, 'guiris' of #$%$.

dennis might be dreaming and so is hamilton if alonso pulls over.....why would he,he's after the crown too and, why is it that the fia,and specially BERNIE seem to be full of Hamilton this and Hamilton that...is Hamilton the only driver in FORMULA ONE?

The concensus of opinion seems to be that any one of four (we know who) will win the race but regardless of that LH will emerge as the champion. The three factors most reckon will influence the outcome are Qualifying and Grid Position, the Weather and the SAS Factor. The SAS Factor? - that's Scandal, Accusations and Shenanigans and the latest one has already erupted! Watch this space....

Totally agree with you Splodge....JS has said in an interview what some of us already said quote:-

"It is also hypocritical. Can you imagine the FIA going to Ferrari, while Michael Schumacher was at the helm, and insisting that his number-two Rubens Barrichello or Eddie Irvine, was accorded the same privileges and that both men had to race on an equal footing?"

How very true....I really can't see how McLaren having an official watching their every move this weekend can be legal..but then again..the FIA has one rule for McLaren and another for all the other teams especially Ferrari..I wonder if they will have the cheek to say that McLaren will have to pay to have the official there lol...the whole bloody thing is ridiculous. Will it set a presidence...any driver that feels his team is not treating him equally can complain to the FIA and an official will be sent to their garage to oversee proceedings during a race weekend

Never let the facts get in the way of a rant.

You need to look at other posts on this site, written by non partisan but knowlegable people who state quite simply that it is virtually impossible for McLaren to have used any Ferrari stuff for this years car. Just not enough lead time. So the idea of a Prancing horse is a bit premature.

This is why the FIA are taking a close look at the 2008 car. This could be a Ferrari clone. Although who would want that level of unreliability I don't know.

Andy you are right but unfortunately Ferrari supporters are never going to accept that McLaren do not have anything of Ferrari on their cars...Ferrari themselves know it but hey, they will keep on saying there is because that's the only way they were able to get the construction championship. People seem to forget that Ferrari had a lean few years then all of a sudden one year they were winning everything...before all you MS fans start to say it was because he went there just think...it could be the same for McLaren...Hamilton started to drive for them

Why not let him go to Spyker! Then he can have something to bitch about. If he believes he is so talented and will make a winning team because of him and not the car, let him go!
Remember the kiss of death Damon Hill gave to Jordan? A team makes the champions with a talented driver, not the other way about.

Well, what difference does it make if they put 20 guys to watch every McLaren move? A tiny difference in setup (intentional or casual) can easily mean a half a second per lap difference, and what are they going to do? Seize McLaren's computers as "proof" that drivers were not treated evenly?

FIA's stupid comedy has gone too far, far enough to make Ron Dennis almost likeable. And that's no small feat.

this is why im all for reducing the aeros and get rid of stuff thats developed and been passed onto road cars and lets see some more spontaneous ideas and clever design rather than traction control and launch control which is taking away driver input

the circuits have plenty or run off areas these days so lets see the cars back in the drivers hand cos mistakes wont be punished as bad because of this

Around the time of the Tyrrell 6 wheeler, someone had plans for a "diamond" shaped car-1 leading wheel, a pair of driving wheels and a trailing wheel. As I was only 9 at the time, I know I did'nt dream it in a pissed up state! I don't think it was April Fools Day either! What F1 needs is another Colin Chapman, someone who really can push the boundaries.

Mansell and Alesi in the heavy rain; down the striaght in Japan. One of the greatest shots I ever saw from rear left side of Mansells Williams, with Alesi's front wheel just inches away from Mansells rear wheel, doing 180 for about 20 seconds up the hill on the straight.
They did that for several laps......now that was motor racing
You can just imagine what Murray was saying.....

How about somebody not connected with the sport, that way we can maybe have an impartial ruling on issues that incite a lot of heated debate here and in the press.
Jean Todt; no way, too much history with Ferrari to be impartial, same with any other team principal.
An ex driver? No, too attached.
    Politician? Don't ever trust them.
Get a nice accountant as head, sort out Bernie's stranglehold and put the money back where it belongs, in the pockets of the fans. Max piss*s us off with his rulings and Bernie rips us off with his greed. Fresh blood on the FIA please...
