Yep I am with you on that when the players are on the pitch we should support them fully as they are the managers best choice for that situation. I think that maybe the players should go out with that attitude. Maybe they should start playing with their next manager in mind because some aren't impressing too many people at the moment.

You hear teams that are thrashin everyone say "we`re so used to winnin n its a good feelin"....unfortunately the albion are so used to losin away, they`ve done it remarkable well for the last few years. We have, arguably, the best squad in the division but if the lads dont believe they can win away then they wont. instead of the confidence they get from playin at home, they`re hessitant...n that hessitation is costly! So i think we need to bring somone in who is good enuff to make a difference, a bit of creative flair that can wake the team up a little rather than just grabbin somone just to make up the numbers.
As for Gera...he was quite happy bein a west brom player when he was long-term injured. i lost any respect for him when, as soon as he was fit, he wanted a transfer.....what a waste of time and money. His transfer was denied so he cant be bothered to perform...AND DONT WE ALL KNOW IT!
And i see the shock news that Ellington wants to go back to Wigan. Hardly surprising as he still lives there and has to travel down here all the time.

The overvalued passengers in the dressing room are now proving unattractive at the price tags around their necks or are not causing any interest at all. As was predicted it will take a good salesman to shift many of the hangers-on. The total of all the fees received for transfers this month wouldn't buy a decent player. Equally the boss has not yet cleaned out the disruptive "player power" element in the changing room, its time that he opened a bargain basement so that the has-beens on the pitch become have beens at the club.

If we do get promoted I dont see him as an asset if he has a season like he already has. Do you honestly think he will change if we go up? I agree that hartson and phillips will struggle (especially Hartson), and unfortunately I also agree that Kamara will probbaly leave. however he should attract very good money as he has 3 years left on his contract. I think it still shows that one area we will have problems with is upfront. If we could keep Kamara i doubt if the board will put up much money for a striker to play along him. If he does go, who would we buy? cant see many 20 goals a season striker for 2/3Million.

I agree that Megson returning would be a good move. This will only happen if Peace sells the club to a more positive individual. Peace wanted a smaller squad and now we are paying the price. When we got promoted with Megson we had a Squad of 33 we now have a squad of 22!!!! The majority of these being simple mercanaries. Mowbray and Venus are out of their depth. Mowbray,s team selections are weird. The club has moved backward with Mowbray at the helm. You only come out of this league if you are willing to battle and are solid in defence. Our defence is the worst for five years. Its okay playing attacking football if you dont concede goals as cheaply as we do. The laid back attitude of the players comes from the management. Venus was quoted in the papers as saying that it did not matter if we won or lost the games over easter!!!!If these games were of no importance will Peace give me a refund of 2 games on my season ticket?????Mowbray said that he did not critice the players at half time against Stoke because there was no point!!! The only reason I say about Koumas going is that he seems inconsistant and he would fetch a good price on sale being player of the year and Gera because he has been out of form and I'd like to see an out and out winger on the team as we are flooded with central midfielders. A C.Ronaldo style player who can cross all day every day would be great and give something for Phillips or even Hartson to get his head on. Carter or Gera to go as they (Carter in particular) seem to think in straight lines, for instance Koren will switch play with long but accurate passes.
I think Albrechtsen is a great player ploughing up and down the wing but can be a little lax on the defending part of his job.
