I been going since 1949. In my 20's and 30's it was virtually every Home game and as many away as I could afford. I even been to Goodison Park too.....but only when we played there! Admittedly its not so often these days but what point are you seeking to make???? Curious? I'm also curious to know which particular live game it was that you attended?

"Pardew's doing a great job"????? with 2 games left we were still in the mix for relegation. I wouldn't be sad to see him go. I don't think we will ever be any better than mid table with Pardew.

The only serious rival I can think of to de Gea as most improved player is Rafael. Both Jones and Smalling have had injury problems which have limited the number of appearances they have made and thus limited their chances to improve, Cleverley has stood still in terms of progress and although Welbeck`s all round game has improved he hasn`t scored enought goals to push himself ahead of either de Gea or Rafael.

I`ve put money on Ronaldo still being at real madrid next season. His relationship with Mourinho has broken down and there seem to be a good chance that he wants at least one more year in Spain to see how the club do in Europe under a new manager.

Hey, Dunster, it's good to see you posting on this board...or anyone! I've almost stopped checking it for new messages - thanks, Yahoo!
It was a bad term for both the Blues and Leeds - our clubs' fates seem to be linked - but we'll come back stronger in the 2013-14 season!
Congratulations to Badford City today! -

I think the logic behind the Play-off rules is every points earned in the league carry equal weight no matter where a team got them and is the same - whether a team accumulated theirs by largely beating teams below them or a team had a mixed bag of results (i.e. 'giant killers' and beating lowly sides), it's all the same points, which I think makes good sense in a league setting.

Could be a bad omen for tomorrow's all important game.
Anyone thinks that this could be Marton Fulop all over again?, as I can't see the aging Harper pulling off saves when needed to deny the Gooners and keep Spurs' hopes alive ..........
What wretched luck! -
that would be pretty #$%$ astonishing for sure! :)

Im not bothered by all of this either. I think head to head should be considered when the other options have been exhausted, there is no need to play an extra game but it is surely a money maker and so a no brainer for the EPL.
Newcastle: our travel north will either cost us or we'll be fine. No inbetween. -

This just occurred to me, as I was watching a profile on De Gea on Football FOcus. RVP won fan's player of the year, Carrick Player's Player, but who has developed the most over the season?
I would go with De Gea, but are there any other opinions? -

Jason ( Seaniceman ) good for yer Toffees they had a fine season. I can respect that, I reckon most Liverpool fans don't begrudge whatever success another side has.....( lol , I'm lying through my teeth , I'm gutted if my Reds lose ).
And , yep , its way better being there than watching on the tube , no arguement , but I guess you could sympathise with a fellow like poor Armchair who can't go.
The bloody Mancs keep stealing from you lot. Go back to Rooney.....fast forward to Moyes...why don't you pick on manUre instead of throwing rocks at Liverpool? -

SB...If we beat Sunderland, we'll finish with our highest PL total ever, so would you say AVB has done better than Harry, or do you consider league placing as the mark of progress? I would say that on the whole, we havent played with much attacking flair this season, but that is understandable considering the lack of flair players in the team, especially in midfield...Most other teams, such as Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal use the term of being in a Transitional period when they get new players/managers in as an excuse for their below expected league placing even though as in Liverpool and Chelsea's case they have spent near £200 million in the last couple of seasons, so I personally would say we have done better this season even if we finish 5th. Hopefully we will now get the 4 or 5 quality player's we all know we need to get us playing the way we like to see us play, but probably like you I wont be holding my breath on that even if we do end up with 4th.....By the way, well done on topping our prediction table, hope you enjoy listening to your own view's on Hudds, while I got myself a bag of m+m's... lol....
