I read Defoe bit a player sometime ago and only got a 3 match ban.. double standards methinks.. if Defoe gets only a 3 match ban then so should Suarez.
I don't know what you are talking about? At Feyenoord and in Holland he was always recognized for amazing talent that he is. He might have had his run ins with Van Marwijk but that was due to his young age and due to Van Marwijk just as much. If you look at his injuries during his time at Arsenal you will see that they were mostly impact injuries. That's why SAF knew he wasn't taking much of a risk.
It is unlikely, highly unlikely, that Arsenal will win either the PL or the CL in the next 5-10 years and at 29 and no trophies to show for it I know many Arsenal fans who understand he left when he was told of Wenger's immediate plans.

Are you angry because no world class players want to come to Arsenal? Are you angry because now even average players like Jovetic only will consider coming to Arsenal if we can guarantee CL football? RVP didn't screw us around like Cesc did, making eyes to Barca for his last 3 seasons with us. And Cesc had plenty of career left to be able to stay a few more years with us.
RVP was not the first to leave as a result of the lack of ambition and ability of both manager and club and he won't be the last.
Let's be great full he single handily got us to 3rd last season and hope we qualify for CL football and can sign some good but average players.

This is a potentially rough weekend for Arsenal. A win is possible because we don't know what Man U will playing for. It should be hard for them to show up and give 110% having already won the PL so their season is over. On the other hand Man U seems to always want to win. My worry is SAF starting a lot of young guys who normally don't get a starting spot. They will be keen to show what they can do.
Arsenal also seem to have a mental block when it comes to the Man U games and have not played very well in recent games.
The one good thing for us is that Spurs and Chelsea still play each other.
If we are ever going to beat you when it matters this is our best chance.
Ok so you were referring to an incident when "They" had a go at Utd, Fergie etc. You dig it back up to make a point on here. Fair enough. That does not stop the fact that Utd do get many dubious calls by refs in their favour? Will you really dispute that?
Perhaps what you have missed is that I'm actually quite a fair minded chap. After 38 games I wont be digging up dubious ref calls about why Arsenal didnt do better. Over the course of the whole season I do think it balances out, I do believe in making your own luck, and come May, ref calls are not really a legitimate excuse for your end result.
Game to game Ref decisions always come up for review/discussion which is fair enough, but generally its easy to see how much the refs calls impacted the game, and after most games you can tell whether the result is fair based on how the teams performed.
As for your other attack: I return and apologise for forgetting the challenge on Evra (hold my hands up when reminded and agree) I would accept that and show respect for the person who did it with me. It takes a bigger man to accept when they are wrong or have been mistaken. No one is always right. Strangely though you see it as a reason to attack me? What is that?

So, you give a guy a break and a bit of credit, he gets another chance and what does he do? You guessed it, reverts back to being a slow plodder who is not good enough for a side aiming for 4th. The Citeh game was a glimpse (mixed up with his faults as well) of what he can do when he is up for it but he reminds me of Charlie Adam. A good season with Blackpool, knocking the ball around at will, then a move to Liverpool and he is shown up for what he is...too slow and not up to top tier football.
Obviously I would love us to be able to pick up enough points to go above Ar$e but my heart and guts tell me it isn't going to happen. Which is more likely....us losing points to Southampton or Ar$e losing points to QPR?
Its been said before and rightly so but we are paying the price for not buying a striker when everybody knew we desperately needed one. We didn't buy a straight replacement for Modric, although I am hoping Holtby grows into that role, Ade is too lazy and doesn't care and we don't have enough players that are up for a fight.
Just the tonic we needed after a rough week. No Suarez but no need to worry on the goals front. For me it shows how well the system is working, so credit to BR and all the lads for a great team effort. But especially big praise for Coutinho who really pulled the strings.
