Why, I wonder, does the board censor "a male chicken" but leave other, possibly more offensive, words entire?
Must be a total bl**dy nightmare to post on The Fowl & Poultry Keepers Message Board.

do they partecipate directly ........? they probably substain private teams ...given that they pay . Come on ....let' s give up ..............why don' t you say them ...''bravi'' .......at least once in a life ? There is technical culture in that NORTHERN italian triangle I cited ..........as there is in England and Germany.........
sometimes those who are in competition should recognize the value of those that stand in their front. There' s also an Austrian motorbyke mark competing in races that if I'm not wrong has its reserch centre near Venice which is the home of Aprilia.

Also you can "thread" the messages by pressing the "threaded" word top left of the post. I find it a bit confusing though to be honest.

Enough is enough, it's been good while it lasted but it's maybe time to go. Massive damage has been done to a once proud team, it's time to put things right.
There are enough "idiots" involved in F1 at the moment, we just don't need another one...

or it could be a journalist doesn't know the difference between a floppy and a hard-drive, a floppy and a cdrom. Wouldn't be a first. I think you'd probably get this on one of the dvd formats.

Mind you, I've no idea how much space a blueprint takes - I know that photos and videos are expensive in terms of memory, but a blue print? 'Tis only two colour which would reduce the amount of space, I think, but that's where my knowledge stops.

The whole thing stinks, and Mosley still wants to ruin Ron Dennis because he (unlike Max) managed to run a successful team.

As I understand it, there was proof of Renault being in possession of stolen material (as in the case of McLaren) but there was no proof that this material was used (as in the case of McLaren). So just a slight difference in the punishment, where one team has the championship taken away and has to pay half a billion and may still be punished more if evidence is found. Strange that the same statement has not been made about Renault - unless I missed something nobody is sniffing around their factory looking for anything that might be a stolen idea....

Can you imagine a court case coming up where the judge makes comments to the press a few days before like "I'm pretty sure there won't be a conviction because this is nothing like the case we had a few weeks ago" or "I'll give up my job if the defendent is found guilty" etc. etc. which is basically what Max and Bernie were saying - and however you see it Bernie is the judge and Max is his puppet.

If F1 is to have any credibility at all in future, any cases involving what in the "real" world is regarded as illegal - as in industrial espionage, not flexible wings and floors - must go to a proper criminal court. I wouldn't want to see it but I doubt anyone would ever use the option.

it seems as though the verdict was because Renault didn't actually use any of the info, or at least no evidence of it. McClaren appeared to make use of the Ferrari info so the case is slightly different.

if you read the statements about the decision you will see that the penalty will be if the championship was altered due to the use of stolen info. renaults didn't gain anything from the info they got but mcclaren appeared to gain something. their performance certainly seemed to improve dramatically from the start of the season.

You know quite well paddockbend that there is no evidence that McLaren had any benefit or used the Ferrari info. They got punished becouse it became evident that others, as well as Coughlin, had seen or discussed the Ferrari stuff. This is the starting point for Renault. They should be punished.
Your transcript just shows that Renault had information they couldn't or didn't want to use. They only found out they couldn't use it becouse they discussed it at high enough level. The intent is clearly there.

I am a McLaren supporter and know that the team didn't want the same level of punishment for Renault but there should be some sanction.

Explain to me why this is NOT a fair decision?
It`s exactly the same as the first McLaren decision which many here thought was extremely fair.
The complaints now seem to be less about how the WMSC punishes but more to do with who they should or shouldn`t punish at all!
I have absolutely no axe to grind on this one - McLaren & Renault, I have no preference.
What I`m seeing is a lot of people suddenly using the exact opposite of the arguments they used in the Ferrari/McLaren cases.

You're right .... that's a dreadful analogy you've given, means absolutely nothing. You are not even slightly receptive to my point about 'Use' and/or interpretation of 'Use'. I know exactly your point, what I'm trying is to get you to think outside the box - don't think 'word of the law', think 'interpretation of word of the law'. Then apply it pragmatically not dogmatically. I can't put it any clearer nor can I make it clearer than my previous post and my other posts on the other thread. If umpteen people in Renault's works have seen and discussed information then they have gained a sporting advantage. They can be punished for that under existing rules. Refer it to Danimik, Graham and the others, have a brandy AND a port - get your head out of the rule book!

I suspect your right andy k, but in an idealistic world and with more than my stomach full of sensitivity to political correctness, we cannot even suggest Max was influenced by his parents. Sounds bizzarre, but that's the way it is. We don't need to look any further than Max himself and his own history to see he's a complete weasel.

if you want to know whats happening in the race these days you need to use the live timing feed from the f1 site, if you dont you are not seeing the whole race. the commentary cant be relied on to be factually accurate let alone give the whole picture. james allen just makes it up as he goes along sometimes.
hammond in the f1 car was funny, but i think he was playing up a bit too. really it was the tyres he was having problems with. if they made f1 wheels with rubber from a normal race car hed probably have been ok to a point.
ok well lets give mosely the benefit of the doubt, maybe he has deprogrammed himself from being a facist, but hes still an #$%$

I'm sorry, I'll admit openly that I was wrong.

    Your name isn't Max.

Is it Jean Todt or Michael Shumacher.

I'm only asking because you are so scary as you do not appear to be able to admit that Ferrari is:

    1 - just another constructor
2 - just as able to make mistakes and break the rules as any other constructor
3 - owned by another company (15% shares is a minority holding in anyone's book except yours)
4 - supported by Max Mosely, and if you're in doubt of this listen to his statements to the press

I'm out of here because there are times when you meet people that are beyond rational conversation and Paddock .......

I've seen it too and I'm sorry paddock I tend to agree with danimik...his whole demeanor is different when talking about RD...as others have said for the good of the sport..he should step down. We need someone (although I admit I'm not sure who) who loves F1, knows the sport inside out and is clearly not biased against any team or individual and does not favour one team over others also..someone who can be trusted to see fair play done and makes sure that all penalties are consistent throughout the pit lane
