I think seeing as FleetSpurs are a tribute club to Spurs, we are being a bit OTT on this. If I stuck a BMW badge on a Ford, do you think people would be fooled?
Lukaku gave Skrtel a problems all afternoon. He struggled with his pace more than anything.
I'll say it again. We were hopeless in midfield. Simply failing to retain possession and kill the game. Agreed. Lucas is just not good enough. Apart from a few blocks what does he offer apart from a constant stream of poor tackles and fouls in bad positions? One lead to Everton's first goal. When in possession he does nothing. I've been saying these same comments for years. Allen struggled because he was chasing all afternoon as was Henderson. The game was too tight for Gerrard to influence. He thrives in space but cut that out and he's hopeless. Some needed to put their foot on the ball and basically take charge. It didn't happen.
Flannagan had a nightmare against Berkley but when he moved inside he got much better.
Agreed on Glenda marking Lukaku at a set piece? Bonkers!
The more I see of Sturridge the more I like. He retains possession, holds the ball up and of course scores goals.
We were lucky and unlucky. yes it should have been a red card and the lost Baines another part of their supply line but they had more of the ball and more of the chances. Glad to see some grit to get a point in the end but had we been better in midfield we would have walked that game. Retain the ball and with Suarez and Sturridge life will be a peach!

Humiliated again, yes, you have been Altree and let's be honest here, it's nothing new!
What's wrong with the Man United board these days?
Is that pesky geordie still getting you all riled up?
geordies, geordies, geordies everywhere!!!
I'm not so sure the blame is the players. If you look at the 'stats' on the Citeh game, the stats show roughly what we've been doing all season - apart from leaking goals.
We have possession and we have 'attempts' but we (IMHO) don't create chances.
The defensive stat also then (IMHO) belies what has been happening, as I think that other teams seem to find it relatively easy to create chances against us - whether they've taken them in the past is another thing. But Citeh did. They have strikers who can - and createive players who can (good job Silva wasn't playing).
I saw a write up saying that Daws got caught out of position too much - I would agree, but that seemed to be driven by our two FBs pushing on and leaving huge gaps every time Citeh came forward.
So I'm not sure the players are to blame, when the wrtting has been on the wall. I'm not sure that AVB is either - as I can't believe any right minded manager would have bough a Daffy playalike in Soldado - when the whole ethos of AVB seems to have the midfield scoring rather than providing.
And I don't see that buying 5 midfielders solved any problem that we had. We now seem to have a bigger issue deciding who to play. So again, I'm not sure that was AVB. BUT AVB is the manager and if he had doubts as to the players coming in, then he should have been shouting at the top of his lungs.
So, we still seem light at FB, striker etc after having spent £100m. So surely that is not the players fault?
I still think though that AVB needs at least til the end of the season, but I doubt his initial attack on the fans and now his attack on the players is doing his credibility any good at all.
And I still don't feel confident about playing the top 4 teams - I'm not sure I even fancy the game against Southampton.
....at the thing(I hesitate to call it anything else with the absence of any indicated ac/dc) that calls itself 'sweetblindness'(from this name we can only assume it uses braille and is quite at home being blind to the world and anything to do with football)
On looking at it's postings from way back in August, there is not one indication that it knows anything about football, or even has an opinion on, so must therefore beg the question, what if anything, is it's purpose here?? Also we note that through all this time, it has never mentioned, or shows any support for the one known as(among other things, picture a orangutan) Rikki Altree, or calling himself anything, to try to rid himself of a name that marks him as a pariah, and a malevolent being called(very plainly) Butch. Which suggests one and the same.
From everything S B has written(mostly simpering b..llsh...t) we can form a picture of Rikki, perched in front of his world, (probably 12 inches of malevolence) easily switching from ID to ID, and always remembering to remain 'in character' (the constant use of 'MR' eg. is a dead give away)
One can only imagine that he changes for the part of 'sweetblindness', into a black dress, red polka dot, stained(from use) knickers, black silk stockings(with ladders in each, supported by over stretched suspenders) a mouth like Miss Piggy puckered, with red lip gloss, and a straw wig over that grizzled pate. And with a pock marked nose the size and shape of an old Pug, 'she's' ready as she'll ever be, for her piece of beef coming home. If it was anything more, than just a simple soul, with not the wit or the wherefore all .......oh dear. I'm sorry I've got to get to the lav, I'm crossing my legs, and wiping my eyes so much I cant see to type...................
TWO massive humiliations, actually, the first was when you first called me on 'vēnērunt vidi vici, ("It's "Veni, vidi, vici" you tithead!"), then you called me again on 'vēnērunt, vidi, vici', ("In that case it's veniō, vidi, vivi."), both times you acted like you knew what you were talking about, and both times you referred to Google, claiming I believed the first thing I read, ("You can Google that, .... and think that you're correct because it's the first answer you see"), which is exactly what you did!
As to the Bali video, it shut you right up when I called your bluff. I'm a traveller, you're not, you've been nowhere, (France to buy cheap #$%$ doesn't count), and you've done nothing, which is why you've been obsessed with me for eight years .... JEALOUSY!
Would you like some photos of me in Bukit Lawang?
I bet you would!!
Venit, vidi, vici!
"I'm everything I've said I am, I live where I say I live, done what I've said I've done"
Hahaha!! Let's analyse that ....
"I'm everything I've said I am" .... You haven't said you're anything, so you're nothing then!
"I live where I say I live" ..... Yes, we know, Newcastle, big deal!
"done what I've said I've done" .... You haven't said you've done anything, which is hardly surprising!
Did you like the video, and the photos?
Don't say you didn't see them I watched the views go up!!!
How do you say OWNED in Latin?
"I never said I was a world traveller"
Yes you did, you said you've been to more places than me, which is ridiculous!
I guess the video and photos shut you up then, eh?
Run along now!
The reason I say the players were to blame for the city defeat is because Lloris gifted them the first two goals through his mistakes. Dawson, ( I'm not sure if it was the 3rd or 4th ) because he got too tight to the player, and then got out skilled for another goal, ( fair enough ). The point being 4 goals by player errors rather than any formation. I take the point that we have probably gotten away with some results defensively and getting away with 1 nil wins. The point we don't create chances seems abit of a confusing statement when you consider Krul actually made 14 saves, that's saves, from about 30+ attempts, and Marshal at Cardiff made 11 saves which to me shows that chances are being created. Whether the chances are taken is a different matter. I understand we want to see the fast flowing football that we have seen over the years, but I wonder, IF we had played the same way as we are at the moment, but had taken some chances and scored 3 or 4 goals in games, would we still be saying we're playing boring football? do goals decide if we play well, or is it the overall performance that dictates? Getting 5 midfielders in I can understand, as the ones we exchanged for were not of the quality to take us forward, i.e Jenus Bentley, an ageing Parker, a pedestrian Huddlestone and an average run of the mill player in Livermore, but off course there were more obvious areas that needed improving but the then midfield would not have carried us forward and I think Levy sees this as the make or break season for us to gatecrash the top four while the Bale money was available. It wasn't a case of strengthening the team, but changing the whole structure of the team. I think the midfield mistake was that we got similar types instead of getting at least one playmaking maestro who could pass the ball with vision and dictate the pace of the game like Modric did.
...don't you ever get tired of posting the same thing...over and over..
...although I must say...your post about the conference call from Bordeaux was a breath of fresh air.....t makes you sound very professional and important....
...I just can't help thinking about what your "colleagues" and managers would think about....not so much you contributing to a message board...but about your conduct, language, and general values on here....ohhh....and the multi ID trolling behaviour..
...unless it was a conference call to your family...? ...same question...what would they think if they knew....
I've noticed how often Lambert is dropped to the bench in away games v the top sides and yet returns for the home games. On that note I'd expect Lambert to return v Villa (a game in which he scored twice last season in a 4-1 win) and Osvaldo to occupy the bench.
I'm 1000000% sure I managed my team fr week14 on 2nd December but it has not been reflected for week14 and is reflected for week15. I had Suarez as my Captain. I GOT ROBBED DUE TO THIS DUMB SYSTEM.
