The Dale Winton is trying to mock others with childish accusations of homosexuality? Irony, indeed.

There is no doubt he's had a dip in form from the beginning of the season when I personally was very excited by his fluid play. Whether that is down to an inability to play alongside Lucas or the injury or a combination of both I don't know.
But I would point out two recent observations in his defense. First last weekend against the Saints there is no doubt he was poor, but then can someone tell me who was better than average last Saturday? With no one standing out for a good reason, a number of players doing the opposite, I'm not sure it’s fair to point out that performance as say he can't cut it. Put it this way, did we do any better in the second half when he was replaced by Lucas?
Second I'd look at the Spurs match when imo the bringing on of Allen was actually a major factor in swinging the result to us. Second half we could not get the ball to stick. To be honest I was afraid when Coutinho was pulled for Allen as it was clearly taking off an attacking player for someone to sit in the middle. But while we never looked at our best, after Allen came on we gain more control of the ball, and therefore dictated much more of the overall play.
So have a go at the lad if you like, at times in the second half of the season I'd say it’s been appropriate to call him out, but also be balanced when the lad actually does make a more positive contribution. -
John, yahoo is a bit like the thunderbirds quote,"of anything can happen in the next half hour".
Was trying to reply to your message on the 20.3.2013 about the Spurs v Fulham game.
Like yourself,i thought we played well against the pool but there was definately something missing agaist fulham.
I think NBR hit the nail on the head with reference to Lennon being missing and had no attack going down the sides.
I know Walker has had a couple of bad games this season, but he links up well with Lennon and without them two on the right we look flat.
Also he played Calker, who IMO lacks confidence which also seems to put Vert off his game a wee bit. This coupled along with not playing BAE seemed a poor choice of team to me and i'm left with the thought that he totally got his tactics wrong, in thinking thi was going to be a comfortable home win?
Well we all know what happened next and thats our 3rd defeat in a row and away at Swansea next is no easy task.
The sooner we get back to a full strength side the better, and maybe reverting to our more natural game with Bale and Lennon both starting out wide.
Well with fingers crossed and everything else lets get back to winning ways a keep a tight grip on that 4th spot.

England doesn't need Rio so who cares if he's decided to drop out?
It wasn't that long ago he was whinging about getting dropped from the England squad, then when he gets offered a way back he turns it down, that's his international career finished....thankfully. -
"Trying to pass yourself off as an educated English gentlemen does fit the bill there"
So, being educated and a gentleman = White?
"what's wrong with being a gangster out on the hussle instead?"
Nothing wrong with that, but it's not exactly me, is it? -
£8500 – those F*cking eufa idjeets..so what? The club pays it... aahl do the same egain in the future.
Aah had te laugh though they said aah was ‘distraught ‘ DISTRAUGHT? Ah went F*cking doolally .. all the players skipped it oot the changing room when they seen what fettle aah was in- and didn’t wanna be around when things started flying like dustbins, telephones, fire extinguishes and anything aah could get me hands on. anyway the next thing aah know is that the physio and some stewards have me pinned doon on the physio couch and the doc comes along and sticks a needle in me which make me go all groggy...... The Rio saga still goin on – Rios jumped the plane to Quatar just to rub it in- he’ll never play for them again... Some people starting to mouth off bad things aboot rio – he says if it goes on he’ll play the race card.
This is the greatest club in the world, a fine club and a setter of standards a the way things should be conducted... -
So, Orphan Annie, SAF will be gone by the end of next season, 2014, and, according to you, United have already tried, and failed, to find a replacement, is that right?
Did a bomb go off just after you were born, to a dead mother, and lodge a lump of shrapnel in your brain?
Maybe it's time to have it removed! -
Jason...u post on Andy C is nonesense. No.1 Rogers didnt purchase Andy C and therefore feels free to toss him overboard from the club with no consequences to himself..ie blame it all on Kenny and just make the excuse "HE doesnt suit my style of play." When I said any other Prem manager would be happy to have him on the books I meant were they to find themselves in Rogers place where its as if he came for free to him as as I say Rogers didnt make the buy every other manager would keep him WHU PAID A 3 MILL LOAN FEE to us for him and obviously dont have the cash to fess up another 17 mill to us for his services hence them not taking up their "option to buy "
No2 ...u fail when discussing his time at WHU to mention how much of the season he has spent out of the side injured that time alone might have seen him play sufficient matches to be a major scorer in Prem and therefore have lead to him winning those 12pts I mentioned he was capable of winning for a side by end of season...so it seems very convenient for u being a member of the IRWT BRIGADE ( Its no longer RAFA the second letter refers to its now Rogers ) to gloss over his absence from the side through injury.
You speak of certain poor results the only result that matters to me this season so far has been the last one the totally spineless performance at St. Mary's where we were lucky not to be heading back to Liverpool with a club record cricket score like defeat...it was very nearly turning into a complete rout and Rogers couldnt do a damned thing about it other than sit around looking his usual glum self ! You say the problem hasnt been scoring its been defending ..will give u that weve witnessed some poor defending from time to time this season but of course the problem IS scoring u need to put the ball in the back of the net more times than the opposition ...how else do u think u get three pts out of any game ??? Its better to win five games 1.0 than to win one 5.0 (Norwich) and lose the other four. Its not how many u score in a match more where and when u score those goals.
The other thing is it amazes me that for people so concerned about the clubs accounts and the FFP thing that so many are ready to take an immediate massive loss on Andy C...He is not a 10 mill bench warmer like Borini a man incidentally that u and Steer same intent on giving innumerable opportunities to prove he has ability and can contribute when he clearly has no ability yet where Andy C is concerned its "GET RID GET 10 MILL AND GET HIM DOWN THE ROAD !" So u are more than ready to see a 25 mill loss registered on the accounts ? One good season and this lad who is still young with his best yrs ahead of him and he could prove to be World Class and a prolific goalscorer..but rid of him for ten mill and maybe he could just go back to the TOON and come back to Anfield with them...and bury us ! Just like Southampton nearly did the other week...I think u need to rethink on the Andy C issue and consider that it may well be worth paying the approx 3 mill wages and just see if he can "prove his worth" and if he does if we do ultimately sell him we may even recoup that which was spent on him or close enough to it thereby making th club accounts look far better than they do currently rather than making them look even worse. -

Isn't that part of football Armchair? Buying players and turning them into something better. We've done, Them down the road have done it etc. Not saying that these teo names are here or there just trying to make a point.
Look at many of our previous players and for that matter someone like Michu. Under everyone's radar and has been one of the sensations of the season. Bale too. Wenger turned him down and chose Walcott instead. Harry took ages to get the best out of him. Look at him now! -
The pieces are in place........the timing is right.........personally I'm gutted that we won't go top four and get into Europe this campaign. But try and stop us in 2014. As a lifelong fan I'm disappointed....as I'm sure all true Reds supporters are......but all signs point to a bright and positive next year.
Doesn't mean I won't cheer my bloody head off for the reast of 2013...OK? Just that a bit more patience will be required. Don't give up the faith.
YNWA.
Oh yeah , we will kick vills'a #$%$.......guaranteed ! -

"If you are thinking of Sunderland's sacking of O'Neil"
You really are a Geordie!
My post was written BEFORE he was sacked!

Geordies, proof God has a sense of humour!

Today's result could've been more emphatic save for Chelsea's wayward finishing in the final third.
Benitez just like Mourinhno have shown Man U up again. -
The guy Warnock has lost all respect as far as I'm concerned. I've been saying it from the start of the season and you guys know I have---he took early gardening leave in cahoots with Bates. Never made any waves, never applied himself, and at this minute isn't bothered about bowing out in the least. Hope his fuskcing cabbages and carrots rot.
Do like Kevin's comment there about Chris Hughton and Mick McCarthy---with both guys, what you see is what you get. McCarthy in paticular would love the prestige of Leeds United, he'd get you back up there and that would be his job done.

I can see most of that, although I still rate Cleverley. I do agree that Nani is, annoyingly, still failing to fulfill the great potential he has. After this long, we shouldn't have to still be talking about his potential, we should be talking about his performances. I've given him a lot of time before making my mind up on him, but I think yesterday was his last chance.

I think those are fair questions.
1. A manager's political views wouldn't normally matter, but this is an exceptional case. My personal view is that fascism is an exceptionally offensive political view. It is responsible for millions of deaths, and was the reason that so many people from this country died in WWII.
He insists he's "a fascist, not a racist", but racism is an inseparable part of fascism, just like the racism of the Lazio Ultras he threw a Nazi salute to in his playing days. IN that sense, his support of these views does go against any anti-racist FA regulations.
Di Canio was a great player, but he has no place in the British game now. His fascism has already caused the club's vice-chairman to quit, and the GMB union to withdraw their funding of the club, and demand back a commemorative banner at the ground. Sounds to me like his views are already interfering with his role as manager.
2. Espousing hateful views is not something that should be ignored. We can also look at how unlikely he is to save Sunderland at the same time, though.
