I'd love to have seen Piggy's boot ugly mush that looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp reaction to Arsenal's 62nd minute goal.
What happened to Man Spew against Real Sociedad? Even Young's diving couldn't help them scrape a win!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Moanchester Uniturd, only singing when they're winning!
I'll keep banging on in the vain hope that Rodgers will find this forum and take note of what I'm saying ;o)
Defensively with everyone fit we're OK at the back. we need cover at full back yes but 2 out of Skrtel, Agger and Toure is a damn fine partnership at any level in the middle. Sahkho and Cissokho need to catch up.
I think any of those three are fine bringing the ball out provided they have an outlet which at the moment on numerous occasions they don't. I've been harping on about a midfield general for years now and I'm still waiting. It's even more apparent to me that we need one if we have serious CL ambitions. In that I mean qualifying for next years competition and being able to sustain qualification year on year. One fleeting visit is no good.
Sort the midfield Brendan even if it means dropping Gerrard for the greater good then fine. We are weak in that area and cannot control games because of it. Give the defenders someone to find with the ball, give the forwards someone to run off, get control of possession.
"We were the better team. We bossed Utd on the field in every aspect."
The better team won, John, Arsenal didn't have a single shot on target, United had FOUR.
You get no points for possession.
We'll do the same to you at the Emirates, by which time you'll be back in your favourite position, FOURTH.
PS: Had my mother known I would be posting on here I'm sure she wouldn't have named me John, were she alive I'm sure she'd apologise.
I am happy to see where Arsenal will be in six games and am quite confident it will still be in the top 1 to 4, but I am not speaking about the next 6 games. After one third of the season Arsenal have been the best team.
And if Arsenal are doing 3 points worse than you expected, and you expected them to be in 1st than I missed that prediction and that you had higher hopes for them than I.
Perhaps you can tell me what you think Arsenal's final league position will be.
Read an interesting article yesterday which laughed at the mere thought of Ferguson being lauded as the 'greatest manager'.
One little stat summed it up nicely... Bob Paisley won an average of 2.1 trophies per year as Lpool manager, SLUR managed just 1.3 with ManIOU, and that over TWICE the time it took Paisley and with a far far larger purse at his disposal.
More FACTS bought to you by Fab.
(5 points clear!)
You've played four of the top five
You've played six of the top ten
You've played four of the bottom six
That's 14 games!
And yet you're still only 5th and 5pts behind us!
Hey Butch, good to see you, I hear you've been hiding at home pretending to be OS, or is the Geordie idiot jealous because he has never been out of Shytecastle?
You're not very good at backing your new idiot mate up, are you, Gillian?
He claims I never went anywhere, you really should listen, now you're claiming I was in Bali and Borneo, you're making him look even more stupid than usual!
PS: How's the cricket?
Thick as shyte!
Vēnērunt, vidi, vici!
THEY came, I saw, I conquered!
Really, you give thick Geordies a bad name!
Well what's really shocking / surprising is that Borrell has also been let go.. You never hear / read a bad thing about him, and while I can't lie and say I follow his youth squad as much as I could or should, it does seem they are always playing entertaining football and quite successful.
He's also produced Suso, Sterling, Wisdom, Kelly, Coady (blossoming it seems) Robinson (who I think can become quite good) Flannagan (I don't rate) and Kacaniklic who is a top top talent at Fulham and was a great swap for Konchesky.
I suppose we have other players who aren't coming good, or fast enough in Morgan, Ngoo, etc etc.. I dunno and who knows if we'll ever really know the real reason, though I'd imagine BR will be quizzed on it at some point, if he hasn't been already..
Indeed. I'm also curious why he wasn't awarded the assist when Coutinho scored the first goal, there was a slight deflection of the ball but he seemed to intend heading it through to Coutinho...
Dear me...Mr Dodge...
"Others thought it was very funny, and clever,"....which "others"...?...are you seeing posters who aren't there now...?
...or is it their voices you hear...?....do they say things like "I like frogs...do you?"...is that what makes you giggle...?
..I'm worried that your CPN has forgotten your depot injection....this is what is wrong with Care in the Community...you know you need to call the Crisis Team...lift that phone, please....before you hurt yourself or someone else....
Hahaha! I KNEW that would get you out of your box, because, according to you, Arsenal are the ONLY team affected by injuries!
Sorry mate, you have 3-4-3... so only a defender can possibly replace Lovren, very bad luck. Walcott? 13.3??? christ he was 15-17 all the time he was out, comes back @ 13.3!!! lol... bargain!
