Typical footballer! He puts in a transfer request (like others did too) cos he wants to play in the premiership and 1st chance he`s off. Ahhh the joys of loyal players that want to play for a particular team. If they`d got their finger out last year they`d all STILL be in the prem!! And if they get their away form to be half as good as their home form they will be in the prem next year and it`d be poetic justice if the hammers got religated n Quashie will be lookin for a new team again, and giving all that flannel again about wantin to play n help the club etc etc etc. Like most players these days all theyre really bothered about is their bank accounts.

You hear teams that are thrashin everyone say "we`re so used to winnin n its a good feelin"....unfortunately the albion are so used to losin away, they`ve done it remarkable well for the last few years. We have, arguably, the best squad in the division but if the lads dont believe they can win away then they wont. instead of the confidence they get from playin at home, they`re hessitant...n that hessitation is costly! So i think we need to bring somone in who is good enuff to make a difference, a bit of creative flair that can wake the team up a little rather than just grabbin somone just to make up the numbers.
As for Gera...he was quite happy bein a west brom player when he was long-term injured. i lost any respect for him when, as soon as he was fit, he wanted a transfer.....what a waste of time and money. His transfer was denied so he cant be bothered to perform...AND DONT WE ALL KNOW IT!
And i see the shock news that Ellington wants to go back to Wigan. Hardly surprising as he still lives there and has to travel down here all the time.
So i say sell Ellington n Gera and get somone decent with the money instead of wastin it or linin the boards pockets! I guess this month is when we see wot Mowbray is really made of!

Talkin about the strip tho, its funny how the home strip has never really changed, its always been minor variations of the "traditional" blue n white stripes. Yet look over the last few years at all the different away strips we`ve had since we stopped usin the traditional green n yellow. Maybe they lose away cos they change the away strip so much the players cant remember wot colour their team mates are playin in this week?
The board always go on about the clubs long tradition so why dont they stick to the traditional colours for the strip? still...i guess its yet another money makin scheme to get us to buy half a dozen different replica away strips?

I know they so-called kissed n made up at the start ov the season but i think by then peace had told koumas that robbos days were numbered anyways. i do think hes one of the best players outside the prem...am surprised we aint tried to sell him yet, or maybe peace is keeping him till the board need new cars!

funny init? last year we had 2 outstanding keepers (granted 1 was on loan) n this year we`re left wiv Zube who couldnt catch a cold and Hoult, who in his day was a decent keeper for us, but hes well past his prime now. And yet no mention of looking for a keeper in the transfer window.
