I guess from your comment (pbwootton) that you've slipped onto this message board from dingle land. If you read the messages (assuming you can read) you will realise that not many of us have a problem with melton. As for overachieving, all we need to do is get our away form sorted. That will start at Leeds and continue in your own back yard a week on Sunday.

Boing, boing - can we play you every week

Baggies fan here - I always thought you'd had a hugh mistake appointing Robbo. I never thought he had any idea what his best team was when he managed us. The football was drab, and we got lucky when we had 'the great escape' and found out the following season. Not wishing to label teams but I always thought S U were a difficult team to play against under Warnock, but Robbo's style is very diffierent.

Firstly I have to say shame on you for walking out after Hull Scored their second goal! I know you have paid for your ticket and have every right to do that but its at that time (especially needing only one goal to draw) that the team needs its support. Players respond to support and when they sense supporters leaving in droves then it has a negative effect.
Secondly, I also have to admit I was bemused when Mowbray subbed both Phillips and Bednar and commented that he had just taken off 30 goals! However it does appear that Bednar was unwell and I guess we did well to get an hour out of him. I also suspect the Mobs feels that Phillips cant play with Miller, hence his sub.
I do agree with what you say about Morrison and having been a Coventry the previous week cant understand why Brunt wasnt played.
I also still cant fathom why Greening was subbed as everything goes thru him, and he and Koren are always 'showing' for the ball.
Unfortunately again I cant agree with the route one comment. Apart from Bednar there is no-one else up front who can win high balls in the air. I feel we are geared up as a 'footballing' side and will win more games like that as we create more chances. Remember at home away teams will pack the midfield and restrict space so playing a route one game defenders will love it - especially centre halfs ! Also I for one would not want to see the style of football Stoke/Watford play!
Defensively we are weak, but against Hull in the first half they had one chance and scored,
I do have concerns over Kiely, for an experienced keeper he does make some strange decisions!

As a baggies fan I did want Palace to win last night, but was chufffed when Bristol scored so late - if only to see Warnocks reaction! Cant stand the guy, and around here he is still regarded as a cheat after he got a game abandoned between us and Shef Utd. SU had had 3 players sent off, we were winning 3 0 then another 2 players fained injury to get the game abandoned. The guy is a disgrace to Proffesional Football and should have been kicked out the game! He is always quick to blame officials for his team losing!

Another dingle looking for a decent message board. See you back here on sunday evening after we've beaten you.

Do you seriously want Robson back? Tactically inept, lucky to stay in the premiership, got found out last season. I actually dont mind Mowbray. He does know when to make subs (did leave it abit late on Friday when Kamara should have been off 10 mins earlier), and tends to make the right one. If players dont want to play (Ellington, Gera, etc) then it doesnt matter whos in charge. As for Davis there arnt that many prem clubs beating down the door to get at him. Personnally Id have taken the 5.5 mill from spurs and bought a decent striker (dare I mention earnshaw - I personnal think hed play really well with hartson and phillips). Kamara - well it was the worst game hes had for us against Luton and I guess we're all entitled to one bad game, lets see how he plays in the next match.
    But please - no Robson!!!!

Ok, having seen the challenge by duke on tv I will change my opinion. It was a red card challenge and will take it on the chin. As for the rest of my comments I stand by them.
Big descisions effect games, and at the moment officials get them wrong! Prem clubs get the big decisions again 'lower' opposition, Man u, Arsenal and Chelsea get all the big descisions in the Prem and struggling clubs get nothing.

Sorry mate - i disagree. Has to be one of the easiest managerial jobs in the country. Whoever comes will have a decent salary compared to other championship managers. The team itself isnt bad and money will be available in January. If we get promoted then the manager will get all the credit, if not then he will probably get another chance next season. As for the ear ache from booing fans I think most of us could stand that for the kind of money he would be picking up!

Amazing isnt it, one defeat in 5 games, (excluding the Arsenal game) and people are saying the bubble has burst! I agree we are missing Phillips and that Hoult is better than Zub, but for gods sake look at the table. We're third, scored 14 and conceeded 5 in the last 5 games. As for your comments about Ellington I actually think he just needs a goal, and I dont here you calling for Kamara to go and he missed chances against blues! Perhaps if the ref had given a penalty when Kamara went down things may have been different
