But one final question...... when was it proved that McLaren had a sporting advantage from the Ferrari information?
Such inconsistency/bias is no longer acceptable to me and I now choose to follow a different branch of motor sport because to me F1 is no longer able to claim it is a sport.
The underlying ethic behind sport is that there is fair competion between all competitiors and that is clearly not available to McLaren in F1. If it were not for the fact that I believe Max and Bernie want McLaren out of F1, I'd say to Ron Dennis start a new series in direct opposition to F1 and let people power prevail. But STAY Ron and be a thorn in those bast***s side for many years to come.

Some fair points paddock but i would say that i do not think there would be a "great inconsistency" as you put it. The Mclaren cars were not running illegally at any time post spygate, the Council had issued its penalty and it was then time to move on. Not going to comment on was it/wasn't it fair etc - closure had been achieved or should have been. But BMW/Williams allegedly were running with illegal fuel that gave them a competitive advantage and should be excluded if the case is proven. We cannot choose when the rules are going to be applied just because of the consequences of doing so are unpalatable. ALL rules should apply to ALL teams at ALL times - PERIOD. That is consistency!
Re the email situation - yes it affected Ferrari, no i can't suggest a solution. Yes i can - should the FIA have not asked for emails acknowledgements and when Ferrari didn't reply send somebody down the pit lane? Do the FIA and Ferrari not know about mobile phones? Or did Ferrari receive the email, ignore it to gain a competitive advantage and claim non-receipt as an excuse when they were eventually caught. Sorry just put my Mclaren hat on again, forgive me!!!!
If you can't appeal the FIA $%&* up, maybe the only thing left is to call it a another example of a 'racing incident'.
