I talk about football because we enjoy it. I'd be wouldn't be being truthful if I said it didn't upset me when we don't meet our potential, however I do appreciate it is just a game.

What I don't understand is why you come to a that is critically assesing the performance of Steve Maclaren, the English manager, only with the goal of taking the #$%$.

Allow me to put forward a theory:

After being abused as a child by your drunken father you live day to day deliberately finding places to create confrontation - therefore reliving this abuse as a pressure releasing mechanism.

YOU NEED HELP MATE!!! i'm sure you have hospitals for that up there

I feel sorry for true Scots who actually have some genuine pride in their team. I don't actually think Scotland are #$%$ like you, I think they are working with what the've got.

Small cocke d, arseho les like you make me laugh, if you were a true fan you'd be more concearned with your own team.

    England do have a world-class side;
    we just don't have a world-class manager.

I don't think that the 1/4 finals is anything to be ashamed of on the world stage, especially with the manager dispute.

Anyway, I odn't need to justify anything to you, it's passed your bed-time, night night.

On what grounds can you say that we're not good enough to win anything?

A Player can be a good player by himself. The manager must create a good team. So, in answering your question, yes, we do need a manager, however we wouldn't do much worse without this guy!!!

    True True...

I think the next Manager should be elected by the people. Martin O'Neil would have definately got in if that was the case this time.

Then again the people voted Labour for a 3rd term...

I thought it was a good game and we played reasonably well. Uruguay aren't a terrible side so it was unfair to just right them off out-right, they did beat Argentina not too long ago. Besides it was a friendly and it did it's job (I wouldn't be taking Bent if I was Sven).

I do support the team. I was happy with a 1/4 final position even if the rest of the Country were not. I do think we could of gone further but that doesn't mean I wasn't happy with our final position.

Regarding our two previous games - any nation with the players we have would not be satisfied with the results. There is nothing carried-a-way about being disappointed drawing with Macedonia. They did play well but these are games that England should grind out a win.

Steve Maclaren????? Someone at the FA was really stoned when they made that decision.

I don't want to just slag the guy off but since he took control I felt it was only a matter of time before the poor results started.

This is our first reasonable test against Croatia and who'd of guest we'd loose in such an uninspiring manner.

I wish we had hired O'neil, but it's not like the fascists at the FA ever even attempt to make a rational choice.

And what the deal with Steve not playing beckham??? He had a few good years in him left and our dear manager snuffed him out just because he didn't 'like' him.

All I hope is is that Maclaren gets the sack earlier rather than later so he doesn't ruin our chances in the next world cup!!! (already lost hope for 2010)

P.S. I don't want people thinking that this outburst was just a result of tonights joke of a game - i've been complaining since O'neil wasn't offered the job originally!
