    Firstly, my name on here has never changed...i am fairly new on here and dont think i know how to change my name even if i wanted to.............. so ur opening sentence is JUST as meaningless and irrelevant as the rest of your posts...

    Secondly....i have never known any 1 who seems to dislike UTD as much as you do.....yet sit in UTD chat rooms all day, create a name that relates to UTD......AND have a profile picture with the UTD badge in it......whether its crossed out or not.......... i think obsession is the word im looking for....

    And finally, it doesnt matter what you said in your original post because you contradicted yourself when u talked about chelsea...

    So...... the morale of this story is........if u don't like UTD (which i don't really care to b honest if u don't) then try not to eat, sleep and breathe UTD which is what u seem to do at the moment..... u shud try worrying and talking about your own little football club for a change.... Just out of interest.....who do you even support? Dont think i heard u mention who ur team is? all i heard u talkin about has been UTD. any1 would think u supported them the amount u go on bout them....

    I appreciate your honesty and i feel that a lot of other rival fans also would have wanted Giggsy to play for their team but a lot are too proud to admit this whilst he is still playing. So i applaud you on that... And i also have to agree with what your post says... Maybe he did not deserve player of the year last season or even BBC S.P.O.T.Y. this year......HOWEVER.... as you also said, "It would have been CRIMINAL for him to have never won either of them during his astonishing career!!!!
    You have to ask yourself, what is more criminal? The fact that Giggsy has won these awards in a year that was not his best in terms of appearances etc. but at the same time a year when almost all records have been broken by him....... OR for Ryan Giggs (the premierships greatest ever servant and one of it's greatest ever players if not THE greatest) was to finish his career and not pick up either of these awards?
    It is for this reason alone that i thank God he won both and for this reason alone that i feel the decision for him to win both is justified.....

    Imagine England get to the World Cup Final and the match is level at 1-1 or even worse we are 1-0 down to Argentina/Brazil/Italy with only 10/15 minutes to go....... If Capello were to bring Owen on at that point in the game there would b such a belief in the fans AND the other players out on the pitch that he, Owen, could just pop up in the right place at the right time to pinch that vital goal..... There is something about Owen coming on when a goal is needed.....You always have that feeling that Owen can pinch the game.....As we saw against City 97th minute...... No one else could have done that in such a big game with so little time left.........A younger more inexperienced player (like Gabby) would have probably fluffed it under the pressure!!!! There is no football competition in the world with more pressure than the World Cup and it is under pressure that Owen thrives and excels.......

    Sorry to bring this to an Arsenal forum, but I needed a non biased opinion. I am a United fan and my friend a Liverpool fan, so as you can imagine, there are a few disagreements.

    We are currently having a BIG debate about who is the better footballer. I honestly think that Suarez is a top player but that Rooney could well be in the top 10 in the world. I just want a few opinions from football fans other than united and liverpool as to who is better.

    Could you give reasons as well please as to why u think said player is better?
