Justin Hoyte - Already an England U21 regular
Matt Connolly - Another capped U21 player
Kerrea Gilbert - One of the hottest prospects to play on the wings.
Mark Randall - You will see him probably in the Carling Cup games.

These are first team squad players. Justin and Kerrea are the best prospects for the future.

Gavin Hoyte, Paul Rodgers, Jay Simpson, Kieran Gibbs, Henri Lansbury & Jay Thomas are all very good prospects for the first team.

Luke Ayling, Craig Eastmond, Kyle Bartley, Anton Blackwood & Tom Cruise (not the Tom Cruise!) are all good players, but are no where near Arsenal first team quality yet, though Tom and Kyle have both featured for the England U17's

It's shame some of our other English players didn't break into the first team proper, like David Bentley, but the youth system at Arsenal is very alive and kicking with English talent (most of which is from London)

This weekend,....I would like to win against Chelsea, and with Essien, and Drog missing, they are not the attacking force they can be. I would be happy for two score draws actually. I know it would suit Liverpool if this were the case, but the top would be a much more interesting place.

I doubt it's a surprise to anyone that Africa has such problems with it's power..............The whole concept of power, and how to use it as exercised by Mugabe, Amin, Abacha, Bashir, Mobutu et al must have served only to teach people that 'once you have power, you must abuse it'

I guess the same rules apply to electricity.

I borrowed this question from a Man U fan, and it went down well on the Arsenal board, so I though as I had not seen it here, I would post to see what you guys thought:-

"If you could aquire two players from any era, but they would have to slot into your current set up at Chelsea, who would you pick, and why? By all means, pick the age you would aquire them too."

    Good luck with your choices.

I believe both Fergie and Arsene are the only two with fixed views on both the EPL and CL titles.

Fat Zorro (as some will know him) seems to be more interested in the CL. His tinkerman tactics seem to baffle folk at present, especially leaving out Torres in the EPL games.

It's really too early to tell just how well or badly Chelsea will be affected by 'The Special One's' departure.

Long live the rivalry between the two best EPL teams. AFC & MUFC

You didn't actually answer the question though.

If the man said it, then the man said it.

I would wonder how long it might take for them to actually enforce it though, or how long the grace period will be for?

Could be interesting. Then again, it might never happen. :-))

    Ian,

How will Rooney, Ronaldo & Vidic stop you being fifth next Monday?

Unless you think Man U play before then. They actually play Monday night at 8pm as far as I am aware. The others in the top five play on Saturday.

So going into your game, you could be fifth.

My point was to those who question Man U's mettle, as I believe they will bounce back. However the pressure will be on. Even though its only Fulham. LOL
