I read the scousers responses to the game on a Sky Sports article yesterday, unlike the moaners on this board they felt we wiped the floor with them...
...so yeah, keeps getting better and better!

Gillians already hitting the bottle.
Dont blame you, you're team is dreadful, and so is your comb-over.
If there was any regular poster left here that wasn't as mental as you, they would confirm that I predicted your downfall, trust me on that!

Welbeck definitely needs to improve his finishing, but Im not sure that will come quickly enough without a consistent run upfront.
I think Rafael has looked brilliant this season, Im struggling to think of a better RB. His defending was again superb today and Valencia is a shadow of himself with a different RB behind him. I think Fabio is more versatile.
Remember when the pair player on the wings against Francenal and tore them to shreds?

You misunderstood my point regarding Tevez, it was not to disparage his quality. In fact if you went back you'd find I was the first one to berate the signing of Berbatov for that very reason, and call it as the end of Tevez's time with us. Unfairly so I thought!
My point is with regards to his work rate. Today Welbecks was good as anything Tevez or even Suarez are capable of, he used his physical presence to unsettle their defence which we benefited from. He gets plenty of criticism here, but today he deserves credit. Certain other players mentioned tend to run alot, but with little outcome other than expending energy.
Regarding our left back, I saw Fabio against Spurs. I dont rate Lennon but he is quick, yet Fabio had him in his back pocket so much so that they switched him with Bale - who he also proceeded to own! He's coming along nicely at LB, I'd still like to see him midfield though.

I think 3 seasons is a bit of an exaggeration, but in principle I agree.
I dont know what people are saying about Welbeck, but I had him down with Carrick and Evra as the best on the pitch. Tevez always got lauded for his work rate (even when it was more like a headless chicken act) so I dont know why people would take away from Dannys performance, which directly garnered results.
Kagawa was better. What I liked the most was his willingness to get 'stuck in', his 'courage' if you will. Certainly flies in the face of any premature and baseless comments about him not being up for it ;)

This just proves why you're no Gooner, and why they despise you on their board.
Like Wengers post match comments, you're just an embarrassment to yourself. Pitiful.

Just about everyone was calling for him to be moved on last season - now he's scored as many goals as he did when playing upfront at the start of his career!

Its true his finishing was abysmal, but its obvious he needs a run of games upfront.
His work rate, link up play and pressuring the opposition was exceptional, and his all-round athleticism and physicality was a big factor in why their defence struggled today.
He has so much talent, but I worry that without more playing time he wont achieve what he's capable of. I'd genuinely prefer either him or Hernandez (depending on who we're playing) alongside RVP than Rooney this season.

Waste of time Butch, they can't beat f*cking Southampton these days, they couldn't beat City in a million years now!
Like I said 8 YEARS ago, the decline would start with them being no better than an unambitious 3rd or 4th place club (the title being an impossibility), but sooner or later even top 4 would be beyond them.
Fortunately for them only City and United are miles out of reach in terms of quality at the moment, but it wont be long....

Pixie the black Kenyan, Swahili speaking music critic who visits the metro toilets regularly is CRAVING my attention??!
Sorry, but you're a boring little bummer, f*cking strange actually. You've been raped enough here, and have nothing original to say.

Its sweet of you to worry so much about us Slayer, but we're more than OK I assure you!
Vidic has said himself it may take him a couple of months to return to his best (we'll keep winning in the meantime), but even if he only returns half the player he once was, he'd still be TEN times better than the DROSS you have!!!
