When you look back now Saturdays result agaist Bolton it now looks a cracking result for us, Liverpool losing albeit to Chelsea and last nights draw being the ideal result we we could not have wished for things to be looking rosier, especially has we have now played what was called 3 of rhe top 4 clubs. We have to concentrate on our games coming up and need to start to capitilise on our next 4 or 5 games which on paper should be games that we should at least on paper maximise our total points and the cherry on the cake would be the scalp of the gooners.
On the plus side we have players back in the fold from injury with Dawson on his way to fitness hopefully Ledley and Woodgate not forgetting the impresive Modric.
Also with the international break for once helping us from a an injury point of view the next 5 weeks are a very important time for us in the season going up to Christmas with a great points haul will make us hungry for the run in after Christmas, these games could be a major factor in us actually being a top 4 finisher, i know we cannot under estimate other teams whom have spent copius amounts of cash like Man City and Aston Villa but i truly beleive if we gey it right from now until Christmas we will be in a strog position to be a champions league genuine contender, thats not my heart ruling my head as in previous years.
Its now time to tell everyone we are a threat and give us long suffering fans the glory we deserve after being long suffering under achievers.
Being a fan who travels 120 miles for home games and have been since 1968 i can smell success and we can go forward with this team. So come on you Spurs we can do it.

Peter Crouch must be one of the most under estimated footballers in recent times, im a yid and live in the midlands, people who i know who are Villa fans rue the day he left them, when you compare him to the very very over estimated player they have there now namely Emile Heskey they have a point.
It does not matter who he has played for if you check the statistics they do not lie, Villa Liverpool, Pompey and England and now the yids, he has a record second to none and i for one rate him very highly, he has become a fine player not just for his goals be he has got great attitude and such skill for a big man, great heading ability and a constant thorn to defenders.
HR you signed some good players since you came and that boy is up with the best of them.

Old fan i also see where you are coming from, but the kids who filled in last year in the euefa cup done us proud in the final game, we even had one of the youngster scoring who has now gone out on loan, he wasnt bothered who played in that game he just had to put a side out, there was hardly a first team player on view, i think Dos Santos played that game, and again a valid point about Dos Santos why did he not play him at Utd you also have Danny Rose who needs games, im pretty sure they could not have played worse tham messers Bentley, Jenas and Hutton, we have Jamie Ohara who we could have called back. Basically he had two options play to win the Carling Cup with his first team squad which he has always played is strongest teams in years gone by, or if he was not wanting it play the future of the club, i bet if the truth is known and its easy with hindsight and he looked at both Arsenal and Chelsea going out last night i bet he could kick himself.

Sure there keeper has one of those days and at least we keep the momentum going by not conceding goals and not loosing, it obviously makes the result better by Man City losing and getting a bloody good thumping in the process, Liverpool getting only a point which makes it better for us.
But if you look at the games that have been mentioned against lower opposition ie Wolves, Stoke and Hull our position would be and should be so much better, in the process we could have scored possibly another 15 goals to our impressive tally already we would have been on par with the top two, now i know we have tightened up at the back and that can only be a positive but if the truth be known our so called top strikers are the ones at the minute that are not earning thier corn, lets get back to our early 5-1 thumpings of teams such as Burnley and Hull not forgetting the even better result against Wigan. Come on Spurs this still could be a glorious year for us, lets start putting the ball away again.

Sfer dont forget the goalkeeping coach Tony Parkes and Clive Allen and also he uses Jamie his son on the coaching staff, seems he wants every job going, holiday adverts, weii play station and a pundit on sky. I brought this point up last year on our site, there really are to many chiefs and not enough indians the wage bill must be massive imagine how much more money we would have made in our recent financial year had there wages had not been paid out, and not to labour the point we need a new CB and full back as you say if these guys are worth there salt i would have thought that these would have been discussed with Harry by the disciples the club employ.
Hopefully he as identified someone already should he decide to buy in January, i know this talk with some of the posters on this site talk of this ruffles feathers but if we are to move forward we must improve on what we have.
Fair enough we have Mr Dawson to come back but we really must now expect the end of the road for Ledley which is very sad because he is such a great talent lost, also Woody looks like he could be finished which is another great shame but the writing has been on the wall for ages with these two players, Gallas is obviously only a stop gap and even if Kaboul adapts to CB alongside Dawson we still need strength in depth in case of injuries.

I have great reservations of moving as i love where we are and the atmosphere it generates, my journeys to the Lane are always 100 miles as i live in the midlands and attend a lot of games both home and away, i love the ground and have been attending matches since 1968.
I can however see what Levy is saying purely from a success point of view and being a major force in Europe, firstly the ground holds just over 36,000 not enough to satisfy our fans, i am not a season ticket holder but have been and at present a member but sometimes i dont get a ticket for certain matches, there no doubt if we had a 60,000 stadium we would still fill it so from that point i think we need to do something whether it be the olympic stadium or elsewhere.
Point 2 if we are to be a succesful team we need a stadium to be top quality, also we would have the revenue to compete with the best and attract top class footballers, i dont think the Citeh fans wanted to move from Main Road but you dont hear them grumbling anymore, i really have mixed feelings on this and i wish there could be an happy medium but the facts are there we need a bigger capacity and a world class stadia so we can at least be on a level playing field with the 2 Manchester clubs.
