Maybe Earnshaw can give Robson back his DVD showing Earnshaw how to become a better striker (who manages like that!) because Earnshaw sure doesn't need it half as badly as your other forwards (Hartson excluded) do. This guy is an awesome goal scorer, you guys need someone who can regularly put the ball in the back of the net and rumour has it Brian Robson is being lined up for the Norwich job; which means Earnshaw will probably be on the move, as the two don't get on. For around three million I reckon you guys can afford the gamble - one which is more likely to pay off than some of the muppets you have up front. And before you ask I am not Earnshaw's mum... but I have seen him play and think that he is one of the most under-rated forwards in the game. He even managed to get 10 for W.B.A. two seasons ago in the EPL for one of the most defensively minded teams I've ever seen. Look what Kanu has been doing for Portsmouth since he left the Baggies...

I honestly believe that West Ham would have been one of the most successful English clubs of the last decade if football wasn't all about money and you hadn't had to sell all of your best players.
