I agree with you. Barclays Premier League is the best. People are only saying that La Liga is the best right now because Barca won the champions league. However, if you look at the number of English clubs that went through the stages of the champions league, it is virtually all of them only to eliminate each other in the final stages of the competition. And we all remember how controversial Barca's win over Chelsea was. Barca barely made it past English opposition to get to the final and met ManU on a slightly off day. Credit to Barca for winning CL. But, the CL itself tells you that English football is the best. Three out of four in the semi-finals.

We have spoken about the title challengers – Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and maybe Man City with their big money spending but a question that has not been asked is – “Who is going to be relegated this season?"
Should we assume that it is the usual suspects, the newcomers to the top flight (Wolves, Birmingham and Burnley)? Or is there a team that is already presenting itself as a candidate. Looking at the signings so far, the smaller teams that have not signed any player yet seem to be failing to do so because everyone they want to sign feels they have got little chances of success. The ones that have not signed so far are: Aston Villa, Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur. But these are teams that have performed well in the past with Stoke having proven its topflight mantle in the last three months of the season.
I am sure that we all found out that the battle to stay out of relegation was more intriguing than that for the title at the end of last season. So, the question is – “Who will be relegated this season?”
