As a postscript to Mika's retirement and a reminder that official stupidity and mindless media have been around a lot longer than just this year, a couple of little gems from his past. Does anyone remember when his erstwhile employers (that's McL) threatened to sue him for displaying photos on his website which showed the McL paintwork! Yes the paintwork. The photos of Mika and the car were legal and not in dispute but McL claimed he could not show their paintwork!! What?? And Mika had little time for the inane questions of daft interviewers - "Mika you set the fastest qualifying lap and ten fastest laps during the race, is there anything else you could have done?" Mika - "No." And - "Mika a perfect lights to flag victory, you made it look easy, was it?" Mika - "Oh ye it was so easy you couldn't believe it". I like this guy! and as Marshall Bob has pointed out there is so much more to the man. Happy retirement.

Let's get this equality thing sorted once and for all. It's simple. At McL there is total equality, just that some are more equal than others. Therefore other equals are less equal than their equals. Equally Lewis is more equal 'cos he's the favoured son and has no equal to be equal with. When the new boy comes he'll be equally equal to his predecessors but less equal than Lewis on account of Lewis's superior equality. Equality equals being equal to your expectation of equality - got it? No? Ask Ron - he invented it!
