Good joke, but he's managed a double in each of his last three seasons, I think. (Not the double we'd like, no.) What have Man U won in that time?
Did anyone notice John Motson say that Liverpool had won the double? And also that Chelsea beat them 3-1 in the League Cup last year. He must be losing his proverbials.

What happened to Jow Cole was that he got a bad injury at the start of the season and has hardly played since. Hopefully when he is properly fit again and played several matches consecutively he will be as good as he was last season.

You're right about the twelve points, just. You're also very rude and one of those who doesn't understand that writing in capitals and applying lots of surplus exclamation marks doesn't make what you say any more interesting.
Of course, by the start of Chelsea's next league game they may be only six points behind with two games in hand. Or seven or eight or nine or ten. *If* Man U win both of those games there will be more pressure on Chelsea. There's a good chance they won't.

I agree with all of that up to the greedy bit, and would add that all those who say he is fat aren't worth even replying to.
The greedy thing we can't tell from the outside, can we? There appear to be so many people making up stories about what goes on. When you hear it from Frank Lampard himself, all you hear is how much he is committed to Chelsea.
The pay these people get is unreal to most of the rest of us. To those of us on more ordinary wages there's not a lot of difference between earning 3m a year and 5m a year, when 3m is more than we will earn in a lifetime. Of course, to someone in a poor country on $2 a week, there's not a lot of difference between 30k and 50k a year either, but how many of us wouldn't be there arguing for 50k if we thought our team-mates were getting it and we were contributing just as much, if not more.
If you go down the route of "Lampard is greedy for wanting as much as his team-mates" then I suspect there are very few footballers in any division in the world who couldn't also be criticised. And you there - do you think you should be paid less than that slacker over there who pulls less weight than you do?

In your dreams...
Remember the end of last season? Ferguson going on and on about how Chelsea were going to collapse because they couldn't handle the pressure and then we stuffed you at home 3-0 to take the title?
This season you are six points clear with a dozen games to go and most of the season you have been playing better than we have. But apart from those six points, I reckon we're now in a better position than for most of the season. We had terrible keeper problems which has probably cost us a few league points. We had centre back problems (no Terry, Carvalho, Boulahrouz or Makelele against Liverpool) and we've had winger problems (no Cole or Robben most of the season). And yet we're only six points behind. And we're still in four competitions.
You're right in that it's more up to United to lose it than Chelsea to win it now. And if you carry on playing as you have been you will deserve to be champions. But we have played through plenty of pressure before and come through, and we are capable of winning fifteen games on the trot, including against you.
In the last two or three years, when United people start saying Chelsea can't take the pressure, it's usually Chelsea that gets the better results. Watch out.
