As somebody who lives only a mile from michael owen I think you will find that the reason michael owen is booed on a regular basis is because he sent his dad (his agent at the time) to madrid to get them to sign him while he kept on saying he would sign a new contract with liverpool at the end of the season,a season which he spent most of the time injured, the only striker who shoudnt have left liverpool was fowler who was far and away the better striker. long may the booing continue for owen
