Surely commercial suicide would suggest people paid to play their fantasy football game. How much money do you give to Yahoo? Plus they've outsourced it now and someone else runs it for them. I've said this before, but will say it again. The old game was broken in so many ways at different times in the past. How long have you been playing it?
I think they outsourced it, because otherwise they'd have just not bothered to run it at all. Cut the new people a bit of slack, else they might just not bother trying to get it right if all they get is crybaby whining. Also, stop claiming YFF has always been perfect when it hasn't. You're showing yourself up as either a liar or a noob.

Yeah I had this too. It had somehow reverse discounted Jose Fonte which put my team value over the maximium. As soon as I dropped out a player it sorted itself out though. Weird though as all my other discounts showed up correctly.

There is a function to prioritise them. The top sub will be used first if needed. Then the next down and so on. It will change your formation accordingly.

Bah, I was expecting a link to game about racing Buggys. Dissapointment, it come to us all. Though you don't have to cry and be a douche about it..... For anyone that didn't know.
Anyway, back to what it turns out you really are on about. Yeah man. I actually picked the highest scoring players in all positions this week. Any chance I could get my team changed after I've seen the scores come in. This game would be great if I could pull that off every week. No one would be able to touch me and I'd get so much satisfaction from winning too.

I think they use the opta stats which TV stations use. Maybe they have an obligation to them first rather than a fantasy league. What's the rush anyway? Nothing better to do?

"Something went wrong" just requires you clear the history/cookies in said browser and it'll work fine.
I too wasn't happy with the new YFF right off the bat. But they have already fixed some of the bugs and now it's not too different to the old system.
People keep moaning and acting like there were never any problems with the old league. Last year a lot of people's teams failed to update one week and they got stuck with different players, lost discounts etc. In the past points took days to go on the system or were wrong and then got changed.
It's not great at the mo, but if they end up with a system where you can't pick players until points are in or points are added as the games happen then they'll stop the silly barn door thing, which would be great for fantasy IMHO.
The people at the core of it clearly aren't trying to make YFF different from what it was. It's just wasn't right at the beginning of this season, but they're already adding functionality week by week and getting back to what it was and setting it up to surpass the much lauded old one (conveniently forgetting all the horrible problems that had at times and the many complaints it got from those sort of people).
It's a bit of fun. It's free. It's in transition.... and from previous experience there's nothing out there that's perfect or even trying to be what fantasy football should be.
You're talking about picking one team a week. If it took you 5 minutes before, then I doubt you did any good anyway. So why cry about it? It is hard work to pick a team at the moment, but I reckon it'll keeping getting easier and better.
