Sorry, but I have always maintained that your league is sub-standard and now the proof is there for all to see. Only Chelsea remain in the CL, and being so low on confidence, and after a bollocking from Roman, are likely heading for the exit as well.
We could have been 6-0 had Robinho passed rather than shot after his brilliant solo run into the box, and had Pato scored in his one-on-one.
Your brand of hoof-it-and-run football has run its course and look for no further proof than only 2 teams having won this in over a decade, with both of them being flukes on penalties. -

So Balotelli has been charged with violent conduct by the FA and handed a 4 game suspension. However, they chose to appeal to UEFA for reducing Rooney's ban for kicking another player.
Why is this organization still allowed to administer your sub-standard brand of 'hoof-it-and-chase' football? DISCUSS. -

I'm not sure why you keep posting the same thing over and over again. I read it the 1st time friend. :))
I agreed in my later post that the case was resolved; no qualms there. So again, not sure why you keep going on about the Suarez case and report.
I am merely asking what do you think of the 'silly kid' from the video now that he is a grown man and involved in many unsavoury incidents, some of which I've referenced above? What is your assessment of the character of the guy? -

First Anders Frisk and now this. When are Chelsea's disgraceful fans going to stop? Have their club hierarchy no shame? Why haven't these ultras been eliminated/banned from your league yet? Full article below:
Anton Ferdinand is believed to have been sent a bullet in the post ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie between QPR and Chelsea.
The incident happened less than 24 hours before the already highly charged fixture which kicks-off at midday on Saturday.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “We are investigating an allegation of malicious communication received today at QPR football club. Officers from Hammersmith and Fulhamare investigating."
The package is believed to have contained a shotgun cartridge and a death threat.
The new development came on the same day Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas insisted QPR's Ferdinand should shake hands withJohn Terry before the FA Cup clash at Loftus Road.
Villas-Boas said he hoped and expected Ferdinand not to snub Terry, despite allegations the Rangers defender was the victim of a racist slur from the England captain during October's Premier League game between the sides.
The players square off for the first time since then, and just four days before the court case begins in which Terry stands accused of abusing Ferdinand.
Ferdinand is reportedly agonising over whether to shake Terry's hand, amid fears it could be viewed as hypocritical. Asked if it was important he did so, Villas-Boas said: "Extremely important, extremely important."
He added: "This game is based on good values more than anything else. These players should continue to promote these good values."
Villas-Boas reiterated he would not consider leaving out Terry and said he had not felt the need to check on his frame of mind this week.
"No, not at all," he said. "I have to count on the player, and the player is fit and available for the game."
He also revealed he had no plans to issue special instructions to his players reminding them to stay calm amid what is likely to be a hostile atmosphere.
Admitting there were "extra responsibilities" to consider, he added: "I won't speak to the players specifically about that before the game, not at all." -

I wonder if your board is going to do the right thing and sack Redknapp, or are they going to condone him? Will the FA ban him by taking a leaf out of the honest, upstanding Lega Calcio's book who docked points and even demoted teams guilty of corruption in the Serie A? The corrupt individuals in Serie A were all tried and locked up. I fear that the FA will just turn a blind eye like the corrupt, incompetents that they are. Either way, a sad day for football!
Redknapp 'received offshore bungs'. Full article below:
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp went on trial on Monday accused of receiving offshore bungs from his former employer.
The 64-year-old - tipped as a future England boss - dodged taxes on "substantial payments" while he was in charge at Portsmouth, a jury heard.
Appearing in the dock, Redknapp stood accused of receiving two untaxed payments of more than £189,000 from former chairman Milan Mandaric, his co-accused.
John Black QC opened the Crown's case at Southwark Crown Court by telling jurors "both parties must have known" they were avoiding taxes.
"These payments were a bung or offshore bonus that the parties had absolutely no intention of paying taxes for,'' he said. -

@ Joe:
"I'm quite surprised to see you reply, normally you just post an inflammatory thread that you copy and pasted, claim it as your own and then never return to see if you have had a reply. Rude!"
First off, I do reply when one is warranted. I usually don't when it's just abusive rubbish (take a look at the other poster in this very thread)
Secondly, when I always cite my source(s) or include a link to the original article, so I'm not sure what the big deal is. This is a football message board and all football-related posts are usually based on some news or article somewhere. There is hardly an original idea posted here by anyone; if anyone here was capable of that, they'd actually be involved in the football industry in some way, not sitting around posting on a football message board. So when folks fling 'unoriginal' accusations at me, I choose to ignore it.
Lastly, whether or not a post is inflammatory is a matter of perception. If everyone just posted the same sort of tripe and everyone else just agreed, there'd hardly be any worthwhile discussion now, would there? Sometimes it's a matter of being able to see things from a different perspective, or sometimes I'm playing devil's advocate. Regardless, I will continue to post and ignore the profane posters and spammers. If there are decent debaters such as you, I'll gladly reply.
You will agree that Milan have pedigree and are a class above Spurs. Sub-standard as your hoof-it-and-chase league is, I do like your team, and wish you well. You are genuine and not pretenders like City, and hopefully, someday you will attain legendary status as Milan.
Forza Milan!
