I agree he is slow and cumbersome ..but thats not what has cost us ...its the fact that he reads the game poorly and gets caught out of position easily ..

Sagna is a better right back ......better at defending .....Eboue does ok but occassionally gets caught out and guilty of loosing concentration ...he has no end product in RM but its unlikely to improve in the current climate
But like you said Eboue will never see the light of day once the scapegoating starts he is unlikely to be suppourted becos he keeps Theo a crowd and punters favourite out of first team football ...
In the end I am convinced Eboue is playing poorly becos of the loss of self confidence ...and its a vicious circle getting rid of him maybe the best bet ....I don't see things improving...people have to have someone to blame when things go wrong.....

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Djourou and I believe the jury will be out on him tonite at Twente to prove his worth.
I know most of U are sceptical about giving him a chance...but this is crunch time maybe his pairing with Gallas may work out .....and if they keep a clean sheet tonite and continue to do so he may force himself in to the first team....

Infact when people who live in sub saharan africa hear u talk like this it would make them laugh....its like saying it takes a year to recover from the flu...malaria is something you get at least every year if you live in those parts its no big deal.....my point is malaria is no excuse for his poor form...
He does look surprisingly over weight and that worries me more...if he's fit I believe a partnership with Djourou maybe the way forward...
