Well George you make an interesting point, depending on who you support of course. We are obviously talking about fairness and conflicts in interest here presumably. Would you also say it is fair to say... deduct points from Rotherham for breaking league rules, or kick Chester out of the FA Cup but not penalise West Ham in the same fashion ???. Is that fair to all the other clubs who haven't broken any rules like Watford and Charlton, Wigan or Sheff U but still get relegated.?. Would the same rules have applied if it was Wigan or Sheff U.? I don't think so, as you pointed out on Wigan's site! I can speak as a non affected watcher from a distance. I watch your results as I have a slightly vested interest here as a mate of mine Matty Upson has signed for you lot from my team in the Midlands. Frankly I think you have got off lightly. 5.5m is loose change in the prem these days. It will be interesting to watch the appeals get lodged when the final games are played and hopefully the right teams are relegated. Fairness for all, not just one for those in London, another for all else.

Helena: Apart from being a member of the local masochist society, membership qualification: is following the fortunes of watching Birmingham struggle from one season to the next without being relegated, I am also a memeber of the England supporters club (whispered very quietly) and another qualification. The, I suppose hatred of Man U is definately national. I can recall attending Villa Park on Svens first game in charge, against Spain. Despite winning 3-0, the main chant going around the ground throughout the game was 'Stand Up, Stand Up if you hate Man U'. I don't think many people remained seated for very long during that match!!

Anyway, thats diversing, while we are feeling so sorry for ourselves over the relative lack of success of our personal chosen favourites, I can't help feeling for the Leeds lot, they quite possibly wont have a club soon, and despite what everyone says about their fans, I have had alot of dealings with some of their fans as mates when I was in the army, and what a passionate lot they are, bit like yourselves, and my lot come to mention it. I guess that , when you think your in a hole, theres always someone in a worse one.

That aside, any forecasts for the next season??
    I will go for:

    Champs:
    Man Ure
    Villa 4th
    Newcastle 7th
    Birmingham 11th
    Sunderland 17th

    Relegated
    Bolton
    Wigan
    Derby

    any advance on that?
