Saw my name taken in vain! Yes I think Morrison and Pogba have every chance. But as I always qualify with Morrison, it depends on him and his mental equilibrium ( to be polite). There are a number of others in the current youth team who look good prospects but so much can happen to youngsters to stop 'promise' becoming 'reality'. However with the aforementioned proviso about Morrison, yes he and Pogba definitely have what it takes. And incidentally I stand by what I have previously said about Welbeck, but Cleverley may just be a decent squad member for a time ( hope I'm proved wrong).

Diarra; apparently Milan are going to bid, does that mean Gattuso is on his way? I personally think this guy is very good but Chelsea and Milan will make us pay a lot, probably more than he's worth. My personal preference out of these would be Diarra and Ballack, but we will probably have to be happy with Nolan and Deutcher, which is still a considerable improvement.

United are definitely not a neutral's favourite club in UK because of the envy of success. However they are supported by many abroad because of their style of football and their development of young footballers. Chelsea on the contrary are generally disliked worldwide because of their use of 'dirty' russian money to buy success like no one else in the history of football, operating completely outside any conventional economics They also employ debateable if not downright illegal methods to influence events; buying agents etc. They also have a meglomaniac CEO and an increasingly paranoid manager who plays generally dull football despite the money spent. THat is why the whole world of football would be delighted if Chelski really did a 'devon loch' this year.

I think when Saha leads the line for France in the WC you might just change your opinion. To compare him with the guys you mention is doing him and Fergie a great injustice. Houllier rated him as the best of his golden trio as a French youth ; the other 2 were guys you might know, Henry and Trezeguet. This guy is going to prove to be an all time united great.

I spent a few wasted minutes last night on this board trying to get 'Danny' of Chelski fame to be reasonable. Hopeless case I think. However I find Melissa's comments totally acceptable. So she likes good looking blokes, so what? Also if she really is based in Canada she has the privilege of being able to view all the EPL teams with a little less myopic tunnel vision than some. I think she is genuine when she says she supports united. Obviously these boards give her the chance to converse with a number of UK people about her favourite sport, lets not knock her for that. Our criticism is best directed towards the mindless ones on here who just post to satisfy some craving for recognition.
