  lets put this stupid claim to bed once and for all.it is not an award.it had NEVER been presented before or since then.it is not voted on by anyone.it is not recognised by ANY governing body in the sport.it was an accolade presented at the behest of the people of seville to say thank you for the occassion.nothing more.and it doesno represent the world,the 'E' in UEFA is a clue to that fact.so can you please name the clubs,players,managers,journalists,anyone that voted for or recognises this 'award',(other than celtic fans) or any ther club that has been in the running to 'win' it
