    Got to say your ex Simon had a blinder against Notts County today, man of the match for the second time in succession. The crowd got right behind him, just the boost he needed. Fingers crossed here, maybe he's realised this is his last chance.

    Bang on Tom, no chance of playoffs now only hope is 6th place but that would only be if teams above us lose 10 games in run in. We would of won this one if the proper midfield was playing, and its getting like hearing a broken record with warnock blaming the ref and sam for losing game. WARNOCK ITS YOUR BLOODY FAULT.

    I totally agree with you Kevin and sympathise with you Lotto.
    You out of town supporters are the real fans and should be recognised as such. I have to say that we have very little to look forward to in the next few months. Forget the play offs we have no chance. As I have posted before we are living in cloud cuckoo land .We keep on referring to the fact that we are only 6 points off the play off places. True but that is 6th place and as has been said before if we finish in equal 6th place and tied with seven other clubs we will still finish mid table with our -6 GD. If Warnock fails to grasp that point then he is not living in the real world. So what is the point of playing safe by playing a negative thinking midfield. Winning the next 6 matches by 1-0 f will still leave us in base 0 GD that leaves only the final 11 matches to start to drag the others above us down to our level. Palace in 5th place are 10 points clear with a GD of 15. That is the reality of the situation Mr Warnock. So I suggest that you get your finger out and face up to fact that under you we are going nowhere. It does not help when our owners come out with a statement that promotion is not an issue or requirement. Asset strippers? sounds very much like it. Message to GFH we are LUFC not here just to make up the numbers. Get someone in now who is going to sort out the mess we are in. Put the best attacking midfield in that is feasible and lets go sh.t or bust I don’t care if we finish where we are now as long as we have a go and can see the goals going in and light at the end of the tunnel for next year with an established small squad who have played regularly together. Oh bloody hell I forgot you sold off our best chance of achieving that.

    Warnock out now, this was a disgrace Leeds had most of the posession and lost, just goes to show selling our top striker was a big mistake god knows where the goals will come from for remainder of season.GFH if you want a full house at games you should sack Warnock and bring in someone who knows how to play his best 11, Tongue and Green warming the bench was pathetic, this was a must win game and warnock played to lose, Bates pulling all the strings again must be laughing all way to the Bank. WARNOCK AND BATES OUT.

    With the captain's armband, Brown gave his all in the Spurs game; so much so that, even after six days, I doubt he will have got his legs back in time to repeat that performance against Cardiff. My worry is that Brown will try but end up with a red card.

    Bryan, you could be mostly right. Warnock is likely to play Warnock (I couldn't wait to write that!), Barkley should be got the best use out of before he goes - if he goes! However, Morison has a thigh strain injury so unlikely to be match fit.

    It will be interesting to see what team Leeds fields against Cardiff. With new players, Warnock and Habibou (Morison is injured), and Barkley and Tonge (cup tied last Sunday) available, Neil Warnock may fancy tinkering with the side that beat Spurs. Alternatively, he may stick to the “if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it” principle – but when has Neil ever done that!
    It’s a fair certainty that Neil will swap Kenny for Ashdown but, other than a change of goalie (unfair on Ashdown IMO); why would he play a different starting XI? ‘Thoughts, anyone!

    Leeds:
    Kenny;
    Byram, Peltier, Lees, White;
    Green, Brown, Austin;
    Diouf, McCormack, Varney.

    SUBS: Ashdown, Warnock, Tonge, Hall, Barkley, Somma, Habibou.

    Cardiff:
    Marshall;
    Turner, Connolly, McNaughton, Taylor;
    Bellamy, Conway, Gunnarsson, Whittingham;
    Smith, Mason.

    SUBS: Helguson, Cowie, Lewis, Gestede, Kim, Noone, Hudson.

    Prediction:
    Leeds 2-1 Cardiff (Actually, I just hope!)

    Nil sum, and ‘same old, same old’, indeed, Bryan! Same old Bates’ sheet – no money spent again and only managed to balance the books by shifting players out to pay the wages of those coming in! Allegedly, we didn’t sign Chris Burke because the deal involved a £500k transfer fee…. Still, there’s always the emergency loan window!
    If fans looked at matches in the same way GFH Bates looks at investing in players, we’d balance the cost of tickets against the other costs of attending (travel, food, drinks; to say nothing of entertainment value) and stay away… And, after a while, even the occasional cup game won’t bring us back!

    I'm not sure How I feel about these signings.
    If the services of Ross Barkley can be obtained for the rest of the season then we may have a half decent squad, but only half decent if you know what I mean.
    I think we have been bamboozled again in that we have sold a prize assett to fund the incoming players and as such I remain disgruntled. There is no mention of the deal with Norwich in as much as we don't know how much we made on the sale of Beccs and how much Morrison cost us.
    I think it is still same old - same old!

    He scored two goals at my first City game v Birmingham City who had a young Trevor Francis up front and Kenny Burns as captain. I just missed the great Leeds side but obviously saw the one that last won Division One before the Premiership began. We beat you in the run in about 4 nil and although happy to win thought we had helped United to the title. Fortunately that wasn't the case and you went on to win it.
