Mr Pannu, has said the accounts will be published before the 19 May and although they will show the club in the red, they're not as bad as expected.
Exactly how bad remains to be seen.
At least a summer long transfer embargo would not materialise.
Secondly, he assures us there is soon to be major investment and he has urged the present owners to sell if an offer comes in.
..I have a friend who lives in Hong Kong and he's telling me that a takeover is imminent. The reports are that the owners of Singapore Airlines are the main interested party.
If (and it's a big IF) it's true, we would be on a par or even ahead of the likes of Man City and Chelsea for major investment.

I would expect the vultures to come cherry picking now, BD...and I would expect Hughton to go, and Chris Burke to be high on a few shopping lists, along with Curtis Davis, Elliott, and Redmond...and those simply to survive while our illustrious owner is facing wearing a suit endowed with arrows and a few mailbags to stitch..

"We dont care about Carson...he don't care about us...all we care about, is BCFC"..to quote the song.

Wonder what next season will hold ?

So we bow out of the play offs with some pride after another brilliant night of football.
To be realistic, and most Birmingham supporters are, we are better off with another season in the Championship while our financial uncertainty is somehow defined.
Promotion to the Premiership with a transfer embargo and the possibility of the administrators still looming would have been the equivalent of a Kamikaze pilot.
The speculation over Chris Hughton has began and he knows the inside story and is batting a straight bat to it, however, he has had his hands tied all season.
I feel that with the uncertainty and restrictions he will, if they are true, move on.
Who would be surprised, he has batted a straight bat all season but surely, any manager would want to have some resources to improve.
The players have been fantastic and done Birmingham proud.
This has been an exceptional season for many reasons but mainly we have defied our situation.
A well earned rest and let us be ready for August and hopefully in a better financial position than this season.

Well done to CH and the team and to all the loyal supporters too

Don't know either B4ts.....the first goal they scored Doyle couldn't hold onto a greasy wet ball, but he should have done far better than let it spin inside the post...the second was at the other end so couldn't see it...our goals were good, pity Marlon King hit the bar but fair enough, Blackpool went through on night...just hope the Hammers whup em !

Tough shit guys. Its that "Holloway factor" again not sure how he does it because they were pretty mediocre for much of the season and yet.... remains to be seen if he can do the next step ?

It is down to the last 2, hopefully 3, games of the season.
Win or lose this has been a great season to be a Birmingham City fan.
With everything thrown up Chris and the boys have gone out and produced the goods.
On Wednesday the lads take on Blackpool for the chance of another Wembley appearance and hopefully will be ahead.
Lets all get to Stans and give them one last roar of thanks for this spectacular journey we have enjoyed so much.

I stood in the queue for the play-off tickets after Tilton dropped me off and the general talk was of one or two very rich prospective owners just waiting for CY's trial in November.
Saying that, we all know these types of trials can go on for years, so what of our long term future ?
The accounts will be published as soon as our fate for next season has become clear. Stay in this division and they will show us just in the red, gain promotion and we'll be well into the black. One thing about our Far Eastern neighbours is heir ability to cook. This includes books...!

I wish I had your optimism on that score.
Why not drop in to the next board meeting, Carson will not need his seat there either, give them a few home truths on who really cares about the club….
Like Carson selling up and clearing off…
    Just another pipe dream…

I parked in Carson Yeungs parking spot at St Andrews yesterday when I dropped Pikey off to collect the play off tickets. I figured Carson didnt need the spot yesterday. Im hoping he wont need it again when he sells up and we get some proper owners.

So our season continues and appears to be ending as it began with financial turmoil
Fair play to Chris and the lads they have carried on and made us proud.
However, if we do gain promotion what sanctions or repercussions will we face due to Birmingham International Holdings not producing their audits on time. Not once but twice with no guarantees, they will be ready in July.
The manager or players do not deserve this anymore than we the fans.
I hope that we will gain promotion, though I feel we will struggle, on saying that I was one of the doom and gloomers last August.
On the pitch we have produced performances beyond our expectations, pity the boardroom can’t say the same.
Good luck Chris and the lads

Definitely, the type of player we have missed in certain games this season, would he want to come back or was it just financial reasons he left…
At least he, like Kev Philips did not leave for the Premiership.

It's been great, BD. Ive watched European football in a meaningful cup, been to many away games and seen games which have been exciting and productive, both home and away. The squad is not trhe best Ive seen, but certainly the most committed..

I wonder what Scot Dann and Roger Johnson etc are going to do now it looks like they will be going down, and we may go back up ? The rats that jumped ship are not laughing so loudly now are they !

If we get get new owner ship, I can see BCFC being a club to be reckoned with in the future...

Too true Tilts, if we had not drawn the last four games after being in commanding positions or lost to Forest and thumbed by relegated Portsmouth we would be celebrating Promotion with Reading
However, we come to the last league game of the season at home to Reading and fifth in the Championship and at least two games and hopefully another great day out at Wembley.
When the Championship kicked off last August and the first four games yielded 4 points against teams that have struggled all season, we had no sponsorship, no money, and a serious threat of administration.
This has been a brilliant season for us, Europe, F.A. cup run and the league with a team of aged misfits, loan players and freebies.
Chris Hughton and the team have achieved more than the deserters of Mcjudas’s bunch, and with attacking football too.

In Chris we Trust, in reality are we in the financial position to return to the Premiership.
Personally, I would love to see the football we have had this season than struggle in the Premiership.
Chris has again proved himself and next season I think he will have resources available to build, plus the respect of what he achieved with nothing.

When I was 17 I started to go to my first ever football matches and i chose Birmingham City as they were the nearest. This relationship has continued ever since without regrets.

Today is a sad day, first I read about Robin Gibb and now my first hero Trevor, may you both get well. I have great memories of watching you, Bob Hatton, Bob Latchford and that swift little winger Gordon Taylor all smashing defences and my voice gone with all the chanting and singing.

Trevor Francis…. Keep right on Trev…. I knew you well as both a player and manager and as a person from the days when stars treated supporters as humans and appreciated them as their wage payers… The days of entertainers like Frank Worthington, Trevor Hockey and you.
My thoughts to you, Helen (who has also suffered with her health), James and Mathew…

"He is a Birmingham player but it is a different team to when he played there. I'm sure Ben would like to stay here and keep playing here because he is doing really well."
That is because all the rest jumped ship; at least he went on loan to help our financial situation and has remained a Birmingham player.
The likes of Danns and Johnson could be swapping places if not joining us next season, let us see if they jump ships again.
I hope that Mcjudas will be going down too if Wigan and Q.P.R can pass them. Now that would be worth CHEERING

What a twat. Have we missed Ridgewell ? NO !! so he can keep it shut in my opinion..and as for Foster.....He is still a Birmingham player, no matter what West Brom or Ridgewell may think..and will go...if he goes...to the highest bidder...and if thats West Brom, so be it...

Frankly I think he'd be far better off looking further afield than that lot on the Smethwick borders, .... if he does decide to leave Blues..and thats not certain yet anyway !
