It was Shanks who said it.
It brings all of us to the same level playing field, it can happen to anyone. at any time.
The only difference is between private treatment or rely on an under funded NHS.
Either way good luck to Stan and best wishes to his family.
Once again as with Fabrice the football unites.

I have never been a fan of Myhill to inconsistent in my opinion.
Doyle has certainly worked hard on his game and improved immensely, so I agree give him the gloves next season, or even the rest of this season along with a few other up and coming starlets, let them have the experience while we still have some experienced players to play along side and help their game..
We do not really want promotion this term, as we would certainly struggle. With the financial problems still in the balance, where would the finance come from?

Talk about keeping his options open. Ben's in a no lose situation here so he doesn't want to upst either supporters by pledging his alliegence. !
I like foster, hes a quality keeper, but I can't see us being promoted or Baggies being relegated, so looks like Ben will stay at the Hawthorns. So what do we do ? Keep Myhill ? I think he's a bit on the erratic side. I've seen Colin Doyle turn in some real good performances this season, notably against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Colin should be handed the keepers gloves next season, with young Butland as back up...lets see what they can do.
I say sell Foster for as much as we can, which should keep Carson in pot noodles in the slammer for a few more months, and give the lads a run. I havent been disappointed with Colin this season..sure he's worth a shot or two (excuse the pun). -

Players will be wearing shirts with the number 26 on their back and Fabrice's face on the front for the warm-up on Sunday against Cardiff.
We should hold a minutes applause on the 26th Minute.

.....and the beers in the Feathers, the Wolves home pub, when we....two Bluenoses thumbed ours at the locals and drank in THEIR pub under their noses......and at Sheffield United....outscoring their own.! Exciting, fantastic season so far, 15game unbeaten run.....much better than the negativity from last season when the Villa Ginger bored us all sensless.
And.............6-0 away at Milwall, so even the most hardened Dingles supporter could count all the goals on one hand !!
Stevey, my mate...Blues made their mark this year. If this is what the championmship is about...who needs another dose of the Premiership. ?

Been a better season than we all thought it would be so far with so many good memories. Let just hope we are not suffering burn out from a long season and a small squad, but it is not over yet I still think we will make the playoffs.
Not that I do not want promotion I just think we are not in the right financial position.
However, if we are promoted it might make yeung sell up, as it would be easier for him to re-coop his money selling a Premier club.

Once again....virtual silence at our home game v Forest for the vast amount of the game. Forest bought about 1000 and outsang us all through the game. Ive been away many times this season with my good mate PrivatePike, when there hasnt been more than 4000 Bluenoses in the away ground, yet the loyal Blues away support consistantly outsings the home support. so what happens at St Andrews is a mystery to me...Its like a 12th man to the team...wish we would get behind the team better at home, I do really...maybe the same support would push the team just a little harder and guarrentee promotion !

Completely agree BD, the run had to end sometime, we are still a good team and the 2 signings look as though they will add some variety to our play.
Considering we expected a struggle this season, I for one am extremely proud of what we have achieved.

So we lost to a poor team, maybe its time we had a kick up the backside, as we have not been playing to our full potential lately.
Nothing to worry about as the pressure is off now, but I was disappointed with a small majority of the crowd who started to get on some players backs.
We have a small squad who have played some 44 odd games this season and we are in a play off position when we all thought that we would be lucky to survive a relegation battle. One result does not mean we are finished; every team loses now and again.
Keep up the good work Chris; we will be passing those who deserted us next season.

I take my hat off to Colin Doyle, exceptional and well-deserved man of the match, I know I slated him at the beginning but he has matured, well done to Colin and the training staff for all the hard work.
Good result financially but an extra game we could do without.
Still we are at home and have an excellent chance of making the semis with Leicester at home in the next round.
Well done the lads and the supporters for a great atmosphere

Credible result in a game we could have won, if Redmond had shot instead of trying to place the ball 4 minutes from the end.
Colin Doyle played a blinder again....surely he's ready now to be the regular number 1 ? Penalty save was superb.......and the away following ? Me n Pikey got sore throats again....Blues outsang Chelsea thjroughout the whole game ...but why did we only get allocated 3000 tickets though ?25% =6,300 tickets, and we would have sold them too. Lets get em back here on the 6th and finish the job ! -

Things are fine here Nige bit Nippy though! Next week I will be taking the Missus to berlin for a few days our "Ruby" Anniversary! Look forward to your jokes. Though it will be no joking matter on Valentines day me ole Son! Your`re going to be hard to beat on your own Turf, maybe I should get Al to do some softening up before hand! that is our Al from Pools not Chicago! Few pints of Jack Daniels should do the trick!

Yes it is very promising, i just wonder if our small squad is starting to look even thinner, Zigic is injured, King not 100%, N'Daw struggling. I know CH is working hard in the loan market, it would be a shame if a great season does falter on injuries. Apart from West Ham i dont see anyone to worry us, but having followed the Blues for 50 years i always expect the unexpected!
We are seeing some of the best football at St Andrews for many years and long may it continue.

This is looking promising. 3rd going into the home straight...Southampton faultering. My favourite two teams, Hammers and Blues look like they MAYBE returning to the place they were wrongfully demoted from last term. MAYBE, just MAYBE, we will be then bought by someone who wants to invest, not spend time in prison....
Maybe....:-)
