Lorenzo comes home and pulls a wheelie in celebration of a dominant victory at Le Mans. Melandri is second, with Pedrosa third. GB'S Toseland finished ninth. Lorenzo now leads the championship. Thanks for joining me!
1/28
PEDROSA GETS DOVI!!! Absolutely sublime stuff from the Spaniard, who robs his Honda team-mate of a podium at the death!!!
2/28 Pedrosa is now 0.8 behind. Brilliant stuff. Can he get him?
3/28 The first two places look settled. But the real clash now is between Dovi and Pedrosa. Pedrosa is within two seconds, with just three laps to go...
5/28 It's a procession for Lorenzo. He leads Melandri by 12 seconds, with Dovi a further 10 seconds back. Pedrosa is catching Dovi though, and lapping very quickly indeed.
7/28
Edwards goes past his team-mate Toseland and moves into eighth.
8/28 Lorenzo will go top of the riders championship if he hangs on for victory here and there is every reason to think he will.
10/28 Lorenzo's lead is almost eight seconds now, with Melandri nearly 20 seconds clear of Dovi in third.
11/28 Lorenzo is cruising, as is Melandri. These two should see it home from here, barring any silly mistakes.
12/28
Lorenzo laps in 1:37.1 to pull further clear on his slicks. This is some performance by the Yahama rider.
13/28 Dovizioso fights back against Pedrosa in the battle for third, extending his lead after a very quick lap. Toseland is going well in seventh.
14/28 Melandri has cut Lorenzo's lead from 10 seconds down to just over four. We've got a real battle on our hands here.
15/28
Pedrosa blasts past Stoner and into fourth. Stoner was adjusting something and seemed to lose concentration for a moment.
16/28
Lorenzo now leads from Marco Melandri in second and Andrea Dovizioso in third.
19/28
Rossi changed bikes and came back out on wets!! But the Italian's chances are confirmed over when he is penalised for riding too fast in the pit lane.
20/28
Lorenzo clocks a fastest lap to extend his lead. Nicky Hayden is up to fifth.
21/28 Lorenzo stays out on wet tyres. He looks comfortable for now, but the track is drying out and he's taking a big risk.
23/28
ROSSI IS OFF HIS BIKE AND HIS CHANCES ARE SURELY GONE NOW!!!
24/28
Lorenzo is pulling clear of Rossi and lapping very very quickly indeed. ROSSI MAKES A HUGE DECISION AND OPTS TO CHANGE TYRES!!! PEDROSA FOLLOWS HIM INTO THE PITS!!! BOLD MOVE!!!
25/28 Toseland is fighting hard to win ninth from Randy de Puniet. Lorenzo now leads from Rossi in second.
27/28
Lorenzo takes Pedrosa and leads. Casey Stoner is in third, with James Toseland of GB in 10th.
28/28
Away we go!!! Pedrosa gets an absolute flyer and pulls away into the first corner from pole.
- It's officially been called a wet race, so wet tyres are on all the bikes. If the 125s and 250s are anything to go by, we're in for a lot of bikes skidding off the track in this one.
- Spaniard Dani Pedrosa is on pole, with Jorge Lorenzo second on the grid and Casey Stoner third. Valentino Rossi qualified fourth fastest.

for all of those who doubt rossi as being the best of the best,,,,,
heres some stats for you.
He is the only rider to ever win 500cc, title, MotoGP title in 990 and 800~cc guises.
He is one of only 2 riders to win back to back titles on two different machines,
he is the most consistant rider in the whole of the moto GP field.
whilst there have been many rivals to rossi's crown over the past decade, there has only ever been one person to beat, and thats rossi.
i mean look at who it was at the beginning,
Rossi vs biaggi
Rossi vs Sete gibernau
Rossi vs hayden
Rossi vs stoner
and now its Rossi vs whoever is on a track they like at the time..
its never Stoner vs hayden or biaggi vs sete etc etc.
just live with it, rossi is the best rider of a motorcycle there has ever been.
Well done dani, great race, especially catching and passing dovi, all you rossi arse lickers, you've been warned- ROSSI AIN'T GOING TO WIN THE TITLE!!! dani, dovi, lorenzo or stoner will win!!!! REPSOL ROSS
