16 Smith still holding his lead that he took on the first corner, Espargaro is in third in no-man's land between the front two adn Olive and Corsi battling for fourth.

15 Olive and Corsi have pulled away from the pack in the battle for fourth place.

6 Simon is on the wheel of Smith now. The champion has cut the gap with ease but can he get past? We have a crash on the final corner. Esteve Rabat is off and his team-mate Scott Redding is off as well. Rabat is not happy as Redding lost it and took him out.

5 Smith is keeping Simon at bay at the moment and the pair of them are five seconds ahead of the pack. Espargaro is leading the chase but he doesn't have the pace of the top two.

4 Simon posts the fastest lap and is reeling in Smith. The two of them are miles clear of the chasing pack. Simone Corsi almost puts it into the gravel as he loses some shape at a corner.

3 While Smith pulls away, the battle is on for third and Marcel Schrotter sneaks through. We've got six riders battling for third and it's thrilling stuff.

2 Andrea Ianone is out of the race on the second lap. He pulls off with a severe mechanical failuire. It's an awful end to the season for a rider who led after the first three races. Smith is pulling away from the field.

1 We are off and Smith races through to take the lead on the opening corner and he races off into the distance. Smith is flying! He has over a second advantage on the first lap.
