If you could have any three people over for dinner, who would they be?

Ray Winstone, Cheryl Cole... and my girlfriend.

Would your girlfriend and Cheryl get on?

Probably not! They'd talk about the X Factor... but definitely not Simon Cowell. Fair play to him, he's earning a lot of money, but he's annoying. 

What would you cook for them?

Some kind of Japanese food, Sushi or something like that, then salmon and couscous or a salad.

You sound like you love cooking.

Yeah I do - I do it all at home.  I just leave the pans out and let her do the washing up!

If your house was on fire, what possession would you save first?

My hard drive, because I'm a graphic designer: logos, images, EPS files...

If they were to make a film of your life, which famous actor would you want to play you?

Ray Winstone!

Obviously!

Because he's quite true and I like all his films.

Which is your favourite?

Sexy Beast. I love the beginning when he sitting by his pool and the rock comes down, and when his mate Ben Kingsley the nutter turns up!

What's on your iPod?

I listen to a bit of everything. I've got some Dubstep on there... about nine years ago I was into grime. I don't listen to too much music before races, it's better to keep calm and focused.

If you could race as a one-off in any motorsport series - but not bikes - which would it be?

Rally.

If you could have done any other sport professionally, what would it have been?

Boxing. I used to box a lot when I was younger: it's good for the fitness and good for the mental fitness as well. If you win, anyway!

It's the quickest way to shed calories, isn't it?

Yeah I think so. I do mountain biking and things like that too to keep in shape.

And have you ever had a fist fight by the side of the track, or in the paddock?

Nah! Nothing like that. A few hand gestures on the track, things like that, but never punches thrown.
