The Auckland Aces opened their Twenty20 Champions League qualifying campaign with a comfortable six-wicket victory over the Sialkot Stallions.
Kyle Mills claimed figures of two for six from his four overs as Auckland restricted the Stallions to just 130 for nine.
Shahid Yousuf top scored with 39 from 25 balls, including three sixes, but Andre Adams and Ronnie Hira also claimed two wickets apiece to put Auckland in control.
Martin Guptill led the Aces' reply with 40 and he was well supported well by Lou Vincent (20) and then Azhar Mahmood (24).
Anura Kitchen then picked up the baton, scoring an unbeaten 33 and he sealed the victory with his second six as Auckland finished on 136 for four from 17.1 overs.
