Biathlon - Berger closes on maiden title with another Oslo win

Norwegian star Tora Berger recorded her second World Cup victory in front of her home fans in 24 hours in the 10km pursuit in Oslo.

She failed to match her perfect showing on the shooting range in winning the 7.5km sprint on Friday - missing four targets - but nevertheless claimed her 10th win of the season.

The Olympic 15km individual champion came home in 32:12.2, 31.2 seconds ahead of France's Marie Dorin Habert with Slovakian Anastasiya Kuzmina finishing third.

The victory means Berger has all but wrapped up her maiden World Cup title, sitting 309 points clear of her nearest challenger Darya Domracheva of Belarus with just 360 on offer in the final six events.

Domracheva moves on to 700 points after finishing fifth in Norway, while Andrea Henkel is 30 further back in third after crossing ninth.
