Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson was quick to share the praise after he was named npower League One Manager of the Month for October.
The Blades boss led his side to five wins and a draw which saw them climb up into the automatic promotion places.
"It is not really a personal thing, it is how well your team is doing and they have done very well," said Wilson. "We have put some great results together and to be acknowledged at the end of it is tremendous."
Wilson went on: "It means we are doing something right, which is nice. The expectation level is so high that it goes unnoticed sometimes so it is nice when the recognition comes from the club's point of view and a personal one."
Blades keeper George Long has also been named League One Player of the Month and Wilson lauded the 19-year-old's performances.
"George has been tremendous and from the first minute that he came into the team and he hasn't put a foot wrong and not looked like doing," he added.
