In an entertaining fight, Abraham just found the target a little bit more often than his opponent and found great success with right hooks in the eight.
Brave Bouadla managed to stay on his feet but the referee rightly stepped in to stop the fight.
It was Abraham's fourth win in a row as he looks to return to elite class after defeats to Andew Dirrell, Carl Froch and Andre Ward in the Super Six tournament tarnished his reputation.
Those three losses came in the space of four fights and are the only defeats on his record.
He moves to 36-3 with this victory while Bouadla drops to 26-5.
