Robinson’s maiden show will feature two Welsh title fights - Craig Kennedy vs Hari Miles in the cruiserweight division and Jerome Samuels vs Dai Jones at welterweight, with both contests will be over ten rounds. Robinson held World and European titles at featherweight, picking up the WBO title in 1993 against against the tough John Davison in Newcastle. This was the start of a impressive run which saw the 'Cinderella Man' defend the title successfully seven times in three years. Cardiff’s Craig Kennedy made his professional debut at the beginning of 2013 and powered his way to seven wins, but will have his hands full against the experienced, tough Hari Miles (9-9). Jerome Samuels looks to emulate Steve Robinson, who also had a bad start to his career but turned things around. Jerome (5-4) has won his last four including a close points win over tough battler Dai Jones (4-3-1). The rematch with the Welsh title at stake promises to be just as closely fought. The undercard will feature a host of Welsh talent including Steve's son Francis Luke Robinson, Peter Ashton and 18-year-old sensation Romeo Romaeo, who will be looking to continue the unbeaten start to his career. Steve currently trains and manages Craig 'The Kid' Kennedy (7-0), Luke Francis Robinson (5-1) and Peter Ashton (2-1) and plans to stage a show every eight weeks.
