Birmingham winger Chris Burke has paid tribute to Blues boss Chris Hughton after collecting the Players' Player and Player of the Season awards at the club's annual event.
The former Cardiff midfielder believes Hughton has hugely benefited his career in just one season at St Andrews.
"He has helped me ever so much in my career and it's only been one season. That speaks volumes and everyone in the changing room would say the same thing," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"He's a manager who is very, very grounded and he knows everything about the club, he knows us as players and we have enjoyed everything with him and hopefully we can achieve something good with him.
"He has probably achieved what managers look to achieve in a couple of seasons in one season.
"He has got a long future ahead of him and he has done ever so well for my career so far."
