    Charlton dealt Jackson blow

Charlton skipper Johnnie Jackson will be sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury.

The eight-goal winger went for a scan on Monday after suffering the injury against Brentford at the weekend, and the Addicks' worst fears have been realised.

Boss Chris Powell told the club's official website: "It's a big loss to us, losing our captain for a number of weeks. But he will be in good hands and we know he will come back as right as rain."

On-loan QPR midfielder Hogan Ephraim came on for his debut in Jackson's place at Griffin Park and now looks set for an extended run in the team.

"One of the reasons I moved for Hogan was to cover that area, and now it looks as if I have to use him," added Powell.
