The two teams failed to make the cut at this stage last year but, based on sporting criteria this time around, they find themselves on the list.
Should they now meet the UCI's ethical, financial and administrative standards they, along with the 13 other teams on the list, will automatically earn a spot on next season's tour.
A second list was released of teams ranked from 16 to 20 who are vying for the final three spots on the WorldTour: Team Argos–Shimano, Lotto Belisol, FDJ, Team Europcar and Team Saxo–Tinkoff.
The sporting criteria used by the UCI take into account the performances of each team's top 12 riders who signed by October 2012, as well as those results in 2011 and 2012 of riders who are included on next season's roster.
