Cardiff in for Norwegian duo: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been promised funds by Cardiff City and is set to make two former Manchester United academy players his first signings. Midfielders Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Moller Daehli, who are both Norwegian, could arrive from Heerenveen and Solskjaer’s old club Molde respectively this week.
Magpies back in for De Jong: Having missed out on him two years ago, Newcastle are hoping to revive their attempts to bring Dutch striker Luuk de Jong to the Premier League. The former FC Twente man is currently on the books at Borussia Monchengladbach.
