Paolo Di Canio is loving life at Swindon so much that he wants to put pen to paper on an extended deal at the club after just six months in charge.
The Italian took over at the County Ground in May and has led the Robins to seventh place in npower League Two, despite a stuttering start during which he saw his side lose four of their first five league matches.
But when asked at a fans' forum on Tuesday what he would do should a club from a higher division come calling, the 43-year-old reiterated his passion to lead Town up the Football League pyramid. He said: "I am ready to extend my contract if the club want it."
Di Canio added: "I really feel a part of the club family here and I want to go up to the Championship within four years. If the club want me to stay I will sign now."
