The 27-year-old Sweden international, who only joined the club in January, has been told to stop playing for an indeterminate period although it is expected to be weeks rather than months.
Duric, who previously played for FC Zurich and Halmstad, has not featured so far this season and made just eight appearances for the club in the second half of the 2011-12 campaign.
