Aberdeen expect to unveil Jonny Hayes on Tuesday evening after the Irish winger completes the final touches for his move to Pittodrie.
The Dons announced Hayes had agreed to sign last month only for the player to deny he had made any decision on his future.
However, it now looks like Hayes is on the verge of signing after rejecting a new contract offer from Inverness.
A club statement read: "Jonny Hayes is this afternoon at Pittodrie and subject to the completion of his medical and paperwork he will be unveiled as an Aberdeen player at a press conference this evening at 5.30pm."
