With the finals in Sweden looming on the horizon at the end of April, all eyes will be on the Dutch town where the cream of European showjumping and dressage will gather.
In what will be the last chance to grab points to book a place at the Scandinavian showdown, the likes of Gerco Schröder, Jeroen Dubbeldam and Maikel van der Vleuten will also want to impress with their jumping in front of their home crowd at the Brabant Halle.
In dressage, the likes of Sidsel M. Johansen, Anna Kasprzak, Marlies van Baalen and Imke Schellekens-Bartels will also be looking to win much needed points.
Across the two disciplines, many top riders, who have already assured their qualification for the finals, will use the weekend to fine-tune their form.
The event will also offer the chance to bid farewell to Salinero, Anky van Grunsven’s long-term partner with whom she enjoyed great success over the last 10 years.
Together the pair have won individual and team medals at the Olympic Games, the World Equestrian Games and the European championships, including gold in Athens (2004) and Hong Kong (2008), and team bronze in London last year.
