A stellar field is expected at the event which runs until Sunday and features an array of dressage, carriage driving and show-jumping tests.
World number one showjumper Christian Ahlmann heads the bill, as well as his partner Judy-Ann Melchior and the Philippaerts family (Ludo and his two twin children Nicola and Olivier).
One big name to miss the event is provisional World Cup leader Sergio Alvarez Moya, and the Spaniard's absence gives Kevin Staut the chance to overtake at the summit of the rankings.
Both riders have already qualified for the finals in Gothenburg in April, unlike Steve Guerdat who still has it all to do having garnered just 18 points so far this season. Qualification usually requires around 40 points.
