Stratieva claimed opening-round spoils on Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés last week where she revealed her intention to compete on the upcoming SATA Rallye Açores from 25-27 April.
"I want to go to Açores," said the 30-year-old from Bulgaria. "I don’t have big experience on gravel but one day I must learn this. When I go home I must learn."
Of her ERC Ladies' Trophy success in Gran Canaria alongside co-driver Veronica Boni, who was recruited as a late replacement for Carmen Poenaru, Stratieva said: "Unfortunately the rally has finished because for the last two stages we really started to have a good rhythm in the car with the co-driver. I’m happy for this and I want to do more stages now. It’s important to win this trophy but I want to fight with the guys as well."
Canary Islander Emma Falcón was also in contention for the Ladies' Trophy on the Spanish asphalt round but her challenge ended when she went off the road on Friday’s second stage. Although she restarted on Saturday, her exit on day one meant she wasn’t classified in the final results.
