HOW IT WORKS
Hypercube and the Infostrada Sports Group jointly developed the Euro Club Index, analysing thousands of club football matches over the last few years to produce an objective ranking of Europe's 700+ top flight clubs which is updated daily.
The national team index used in our Euro 2012 prediction is based on competitive matches and does not include friendlies.

According to the Euro Club Index, Spain are huge favourites to become the first team to win three successive international tournaments.
The Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010 winners have a tough group in Poland with Italy, Croatia and Ireland awaiting them.
However, the statisticians believe they have a 27.6 per cent chance of winning the tournament, with Netherlands coming a distant second with a 16.3 per cent chance.
It is perhaps surprising that Germany, who many have tipped to win the tournament, have only a 15.4 per cent chance of emerging triumphant.
England come in fifth, behind Italy, so can probably expect another quarter-final exit at best.
In terms of the most likely final, a repeat of the 2010 World Cup final between Spain and Netherlands could well be on the cards.
A game settled by a solitary Andres Iniesta goal at the end of extra time witnessed some disgraceful challenges from the Dutch, who could have won the game had Arjen Robben been more clinical.
The next most likely final is of course a meeting between Spain and Germany. For many, this would probably be the dream final.
