The experienced defender and his midfield counterpart both picked up their fifth bookings of the season during last weekend's 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest and will therefore miss out against Dyche's former club.
Otherwise, the Clarets boss has a fully-fit squad to pick from as he looks to steer his side to a first home victory in over a month, their last coming in the 1-0 win over Leeds on November 6.
The Clarets sit 17th in the npower Championship table but are just five points behind their opponents, who currently occupy the last of the play-off places.
